Escalating Iranian aggression cost the lives of three U.S. soldiers in Jordan. These intolerable acts of violence by the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism can no longer go unpunished. The U.S. must respond with an immediate and unequivocal show of force that will begin to restore the deterrence that has decayed not only in the Middle East but around the world.

Our first step should be to respond to Iran’s deadly attacks with devastating strikes: not only to end Tehran’s escalation and keep American soldiers safe, but to begin re-establishing the model of deterrence that keeps war at bay. The U.S. military must destroy high-value Iranian targets, including Tehran’s nuclear program, navy and oil infrastructure. Telegraphed strikes on empty warehouses achieve nothing. Appeasement has never worked a single time in history, and it won’t work now.
The safety and security of the nation and its citizens must always remain paramount. Those who volunteer to defend our freedoms shouldn’t be left to fend for themselves. Those who make the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country deserve justice. And those who dare to threaten America’s interests deserve a reminder that they’ll regret it.

But of course
You ain’t gonna fight it
Good Heavens...Pence and Pompeo. The gruesome twosome.
Kharg Island.
Hit ‘em where it really hurts economically, with limited chance of spiraling into WWIII (which is a real risk we should avoid, while we’re under-gunned).
Or don’t do kinetic attack.
Escalation! What a great idea I wonder why no one thought of that before???
But really, it’s too late. *resident bidet blew his wad already.
Escalation of violence should be the last resort.
Many Russians are learning about this the hard way. About 200,000 are past the learning stage.
Ya, but who is going to give the order?
Taking out a drone factory might be useful.
I wonder if we can find a country motivated to do so.
Do U have a name that comes to mind?
That U.S. military outpost in Jordan is a supply depot for U.S. troops that have been operating in Syria for years — in blatant violation of that country’s sovereignty.
And these two losers say it’s IRAN that is engaging in “escalation” over there? LOL.
I think I’ve spotted a war-mongering walrus.
Why not just blow up every non us-friendly national capital around the world, Al on the same day.
It would start lots of wars all at the same time?, kind of a more efficient way.

While I agree that escalation of violence should be the last resort, if you choose that path, be Damned Serious with the response.
Whoever came up with “proportional” response is most likely the same ass that developed the “prevent defense.”. Only “prevents” you from winning.
Whatever “targets” Poopy Pants and his Perfumed Generals select, they should be blown clear off the map. We all know Biden will blubber and blunder a threat, crap his pants only to shoot a camel in the ass with a $3 million dollar missile.
FJB. Too old and mentally impaired to stand trial!!!!
These radicals want to die for their religion of peace. There is no way to hurt them to the point of stopping attacks until they are all dead. They WANT to die and I think we should help them.
They do not fear death.
This is why American “conservatives” can’t have nice things.
I think one of the indications that one is in a late-stage empire is the audience given to chickenhawks to send someone else off to war.
I'm for that.
