After a year of getting roundly humiliated by Donald Trump and failing to unseat him as the leader of the Republican Party, Ron DeSantis finally dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump’s bid to reclaim the White House. But while the former president publicly retired his “DeSanctimonious” nickname, Trump has privately made clear over the past two weeks that he’s not ready to let go of his grudge against the Florida governor and former ally.
One of the sources, who has spoken to the ex-president about this topic recently, bluntly characterizes Trump’s attitude on DeSantis’ future as wanting to turn “Ron into a political eunuch” who never gets to be president, much less lead his party. In months past, as Rolling Stone previously reported, Trump privately insisted that if DeSantis truly wishes to earn his forgiveness, the Florida governor would have to “kiss my ass, a lot.”
For now, it appears that the adequate ass kissing has yet to begin.

Sowell endorsed Trump against Hillary Clinton, but had some fairly harsh words about Trump the man. And unlike Lincoln, Trump is an egotist who never forgives an insult.

How do they know what Trump is planning? This is more than likely a lie because DeSantis has done an excellent job in Florida. There would be no reason to further harm DeSantis.

And you know this was at Trump’s instigation, how exactly? More likely it was being done for optics to highlight Trump’s legal persecution and DeSantis’s desire to benefit from it rather than condemn it. DeSantis dropped out soon after and the bill was subsequently withdrawn. DeSantis, by the way, is the guy who campaigned on the Florida taxpayer’s dime for a year.

As I said in my previous post, your contention that Trump was instigating that bill has no sauce. But as far as Trump’s “bad decisions”, what specifically are you referring to? His “rape” of E. Jean Carrol, the serial rape accuser whose story has more holes than Pebble Beach? or storing presidential records he was authorized to have in a secure location? Or was it his valuation of a loan that he paid back and for which there were no victims?
No, the “bad decisions” he made were being America first and challenging the Uniparty. That’s a “bad decisions” your boy Ron would never make.
