A large explosion lit up the night sky on February 7 near Votkinsk, a city about 1,000 kilometers east of Moscow that is the location of a Russian military production facility.

Residents of Votkinsk reported that a powerful explosion had occurred near the city and posted videos on social media showing high flames and a massive yellow glow over the horizon.

Further messages said the explosion occurred at the Votkinsk Machine-Building Plant, which produces some of the Russian military's most sophisticated missiles, including the types it has used against Ukraine.

The explosion was also reported by TASS, which quoted the emergency services agency as saying there had been a “scheduled test of rocket engines” at the plant.

“This is not an emergency, [but] a planned [event],” a spokesman for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was quoted as saying by the Russian state media outlet.

If you can’t shoot down all the missiles, blow up the factory and destroy all the missiles.

Nothing to see here, it was just a “scheduled test of rocket engines’. Move along.

They’re easier to kill if you get them before they leave the nest.

Watch as the Russian blow up some of our refineries in the USA.

The border is open in the USA.

Ukraine agents likely did the deed in Russia.

Much easier for them to infiltrate Russia.

They may have had an assist from US intelligence, then again, they may have better intelligence than the USA. Our agencies seem compromised.

It is also possible some compromised chips, necessary for missile production, were installed.

Having been destroyed on the battlefield, the Ukes (CIA) are changing gears to an insurgency based conflict. Expect more of this type attack. The Ruskies can be ruthless in such situations. The Chechens can attest to that.

Having dealt with Russian technical types during my time in the Alaska oil patch let me assure everyone that they are perfectly capable of blowing up their own rocket plants without any outside intervention.

Wednesday, Feb 7th 2024 6PM: Huge fireball explosion lights up the night sky in eastern Ukraine: Russian missile targets fuel depot as Putin's troops advance on capital and face bloody street-to-street fighting

The Ukraine skies lit up with fire tonight as Russian forces launched a devastating attack on one of the country's fuel stores.

The hellish scene unfolded near the village of Kulinichi close to Kharkiv city in eastern Ukraine.

Stunned families watched in disbelief as the huge fireball mushroomed into the cold air after one of Putin's missiles scored a direct hit.

The facility was targeted in an effort to cut off fuel supplies to Ukraine forces desperately trying to hold back the Russian troops.

It came just hours after Ukraine's interior ministry warned Russian troops could target natural gas transit pipelines from Russia to Europe.

The ministry called on Ukrainians to watch out for any people with Russian accents who suddenly arrived in their region. It said several saboteur groups has been discovered in Kyiv and warned that more were appearing in other cities.

Things to do in Votkinsk:
1. Visit the Memorial Estate of P.I. Tchaikovsky
2. See the Votkinsk Museum of Local Lore
3. Take in a game at Znamya Stadium
4. Take a Turkish spa in Votkinskiye Termy
5. Blow up the Votkinsk Machine Building Plant
