Buh-bye.
Good riddance!
Should have been done a long time ago.
The bell.It tolls...for thee!
“Whatley served as a federal law clerk, senior official in the George W. Bush administration, and as chief of staff for U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole.”
This does not fill me with confidence.
This departure escalated quickly once Trump said he wanted change..
He BETTER be BETTER!!!
I guess this proves who is running the republican party right now. I didn’t know Trump had this much influence.
It’s good Ronna is leaving. Too much rino, not enough MAGA. Same with Mittens.
About f’n time. The GOP’s performance in the last mid-terms was inexcusable. If the RNC was a professional sports team McDaniel would have been GONE by now.
So long, it sure sucked to know ya.
So long, it sure sucked to know ya.
So long, under the bus we’ll throw ya
‘cause that dusty old wind is a blowin’ you home
And you’ve got to be drifting along.
I’m not going to hold my breath that Whatley is going to be a better choice. Ronna was a RINO McRomneybot.
Excellent.
Another sign that the GOP is becoming Trump’s party.
YOU’RE FIRED!
She might have been replaced because the Lion is still King.
Failure is not tolerated by GOPevil.
Can we send flowers? I heard it’s in their budget.
Well, we now know what their Monday meeting at Mar-a-Lago was all about...
While their elected people have generally sucked, it is odd that Trump gets to say who the leader of the GOP is.
How many GOP members are going to be pissed about this and what will they do about it? Boycott? Sabotage 2024?
That is of course if this news is truthful.
The Times cited “two people familiar with the plans.”
According to the Times. Ms. McDaniel will be replaced by Michael Whatley, chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, at Mr. Trump’s behest.
Party rules require an actual election of a new chair, but Mr. Trump’s hold on the party is so strong that his endorsement would make his choice an inevitability, the Times wrote.
Why is the Times referring to itself in the third person?
Just.. Damn!
Not sure how this arrangement came to pass, but it’s very welcome and about time.
