President Joe Biden had some good economic news last week. The American economy added 353,000 new jobs, nearly twice what many people predicted. Previous months’ job gains were also revised upward, and for a change, it wasn’t government jobs that were leading the advances. Wages grew faster than expected. Consumer spending was strong.
Simply put, they were really, really good economic numbers.
Biden also had some horrible political news last week. A new poll had his overall approval rating at 37 percent, the lowest of his term. He trailed former President Donald Trump by 20 points on who was best able to handle the economy; the gap was more than 30 points on the issue of controlling the border. Trump even leads Biden by 16 points on who is more “competent and effective.”
Simply put, they were really, really horrid numbers.

DemoRAT economy = LIES!
The Hill fails to mention that almost all the of new jobs are part time jobs. The people who have those jobs surely know it.
On a related note, I would like to point out that I am the first human to run the 3-minute mile. And it wasn't that hard for me.
I agree. This economy is so damned good, we’re all going to the poorhouse soon.
Spending trillion$ we don’t have is not a good economy.
Most of the added jobs were government jobs. Government produces NOTHING; it adds NOTHING to the GDP.
I read somewhere late last year that pretty much every new job since the end of the “pandemic” has gone to non-White workers. I wonder if that is still holding true as well...
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
He’s insane.
L
Then we have them counting people who have 2 or 3 jobs as “new”
Mick Mulvaney from ‘The Hill’ is as much of a liar as Dylan Mulvaney from Bud Light / Transheuser-Busch.

>>>Mulvaney is just another establishment moron who’s totally detached from living in the real world economy.
If the cost of food goes up 25% in one year, and the price of gas/diesel goes ip 50% and your wages go up 3% the economy is STILL crappy if the prices and the wages don’t go up the following year, but the previous increases become the new normal.
Yep, working extra jobs to pay for inflation.
“Mulvaney” in Gaelic means blight, pustulants, and feces for gray matter.
I don’t recall Morning Joe loudly fretting about all those bad poll numbers...
Then migrants allowed to walk free until Alvin sent Homeland Security after them and brought them back.
This country now sees. If they watch left wing news they remember the redhead making jokes about the news coverage of the border by Fox. They remember the number of times they were told, it's not a crisis. They remember Biden erasing 64 of Trump's executive orders on Day 1.
The Democrats know it. That's why they are screaming to pass this border bill. But in the words of the late Toby Keith , it's little too late.
Once this McDonalds et. al. inflation hits, people will just shrug???
I was gonna say
(MICK MULVANEY)
His bro on a Bud Light can?
Imagine that your whole life is only useful to humanity for that one disgraceful task. Most democrats fit that description these days, unfortunately.
