Musk says illegal immigration crisis is contributing to lack of affordable housing in US

...

Elon Musk weighed in on the economic impacts of illegal immigration in a series of posts on social media as he criticized the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis.

...

that illegal immigrants have access to in the U.S. and argue they’re contributing to the housing affordability crisis.

"A few other things you probably don’t know: illegals in America can get bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver’s licenses, free healthcare (California & New York) and in-state college tuition," Musk wrote. "What’s the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn’t pay taxes or do jury duty?"

"If you’re wondering why housing is so expensive, this is a major contributor," Musk added.

...

Not only are homebuyers struggling in the current housing market, but burdens on renters are rising as well. .. Renters are considered burdened if they spend more than 30% of their income on rent and utilities, and the 22.4 million total amounts to roughly half of U.S. tenants.

...

Biden and lawmakers in Congress who’ve pushed for a border security bill could make progress on resolving the southern border crisis without enacting a new law if the administration simply puts forward an executive order reforming asylum policies.

"No laws need to be passed," Musk wrote. "All that is needed is an executive order to require proof before granting an asylum hearing. That is how it used to be."

...

Musk also agreed with Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor David Sacks, who wrote last week that the border is broken "because this administration refuses to enforce the laws we already have."

Musk responded by writing, "exactly."

^^^THIS^^^ Please convince me this isn’t intentional by oBiden and by those who own and operate him.

Every cause they, the demonrats and rinos, support, every person they place in high office above us in full rainbow glory, are all seemingly chosen for the psychological toll and damage done to us.

Competence? We don’ need no stinkin’ competence! We want anarchy! Now!

The illegals can get $1,000 a month from the taxpayers in NYC where an American cannot.

People Immigrating to the US are still required under law to have a Sponsor to financially Guarantee they will not be a burden on taxpayers. IT IS STILL THE LAW. I had to sign away My income and assets for 10 years to get my wife her green card.

Republican controlled States simply need a NEW LAW Declaring all Non Citizens without a declared Legal Sponsor SHALL be the Financial Responsibility of Federal Employee’s Living and Working in their State.

Then SEIZE THEIR ASSETS TO PAY THE BILLS they rack up

Where is it codified that we must provide housing, food, healthcare and a stipend just because someone illegally entered our country claiming they need asylum?

And if is law, how can it be rationalized against law abiding and contributing US citizens being burdened with the financial and criminal consequences of an invasion enabled (even promoted) by our inept government leaders?

I can hear Dr. Jill telling her husband, let them eat cake.

He’s right about illegals affecting the cost of housing, but it’s not because they can get mortgages and buy homes. It’s because they RENT houses, with a family in every bedroom, living room, dining room and garage. When you share the rent with multiple families, you can pay more than a single person or a family, and landlords love it. It jacks up the cost of rentals, and high rental prices drive up the cost of all housing in a market.
