Oklahoma State Chamber endorses Senator Lankford's pro-growth border legislation
KOKH Fox 25 ^ | February 6th 2024 | KOKH STAFF

The State Chamber of Oklahoma’s president and CEO Chad Warmington has released a statement in support of the pro-growth initiatives outlined in federal legislation laid out by Oklahoma Senator James Lankford and other senate members. Below is the statement:

“It’s encouraging to see that there are still statesmen like James Lankford in American politics. Senator Lankford is actually working on the problem, and in doing so is trying to deliver wins for the American people. Senator Lankford’s bill will implement targeted, pro-growth immigration reforms that will help Oklahoma businesses meet their critical workforce needs. Currently, there are over 30,000 jobs going unfilled in Oklahoma each year. We cannot afford to overlook any potential remedies to the systemic workforce crisis in our state. Sensible, pro-growth immigration reform is at the top of the list of policy levers we can pull to help our economy grow. We thank Senator Lankford for having the courage and insight to tackle this tough issue. We look forward to working with him to try to make these solutions a reality for Oklahoma.”

Gee, who didn't see this coming?

Imagine that, the "Chamber" is happy to have lots of people show up to work and drive down wages.

Then they can make more money to fill the coffers of the DNC. What a great idea, Republicans!

Chambers of Commerce are potentially a bigger threat to America than BLM and Hamas combined.

And Glenn Beck says “We’re winning” not when the Chamber of Commerce runs our political system including the Republican Party.

Katie Britt in Alabama US Senator came from the C of C.

Brad Little the Governor of Idaho Republican again was with the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry before he became a politician. Another C of C stooge and Little postures now with Greg Abbott on the border issue as well.

Fakeservative.

Pro-growth? What does that mean here? I didn’t know, so I ran it through my Jonny Quest decoder ring. Here’s what came out:

“They want cheap labor. Sure, that will also mean more crime and a greater burden on the welfare state. But the Chamber folks are rich, and live in gated communities. So they don’t care about any problems. They just want cheap labor.”

Nice work by the decoder ring. Very complete explanation.

They’d better secure their elections first.

Oklahoma, if you made your state more attractive for workers, you might have more come there, legally and voluntarily.

Get rid of your state income tax, for starters.

A preacher has no place in government. They need to stay with the women and children in the wagons when the Indians attack.

And look at his stupid dumb and dumber haircut until just before ruining for office. And he testified 13 year olds can consent to sex. Molester written all over him.

Lankford will not survive this. He unknowingly became the Uniparty’s ‘patsy, as did Senator Sinema. They wanted to get rid of them anyway..

Mitch sent him on a kamikaze mission and he was stupid enough to slam his plane into the water instead of the ship.

Holy smokes I have never, ever seen a dumber political move than this. Fetterman and Biden look like geniuses compared to Lankford.
