Below is the 2023 Massachusetts State Police payroll. It includes those who earned from $400,000+ on down. Go to the “Your Tax Dollars at Work” main page for more as the Herald keeps adding to this project.

To search on this database, click the magnifying glass icon (at right) and enter names and more. Use the scroll bar at the bottom to move the data over to the right to sort by highest to lowest. You need to view the article to see the table of salaries then click the very appropriately named "Gross" column and sort by descending to get the gist of how insane the distribution of taxpayer money is wasted by the Democrat Party controlled Massachusetts government.

Note that the top earner for 2023 was Detective Lieutenant William Cederquist who grossed $439,059.14. Also note, that same detective was charged lasted week by the acting U.S. Attorney Joshua Levy for selling CDLs (that is Commercial Driver's Licenses) to unqualified drivers.

He'd fit right in in the Ukraine or in Russia.

My God, the bastard got paid almost a half million bucks and he’s selling CDL licenses?

Sounds like something a Democrat black woman politician would do.

“My God, the bastard got paid almost a half million bucks and he’s selling CDL licenses?”

Our Lt Governor, George Ryan, was convicted of doing that while he was Secretary of State here in Illinois. An entire family was killed by someone who’d purchased his CDL.

That page is blocked for me in multiple browsers. I keep getting “disable incognito or subscribe.” I’m guessing what it is really saying is “disable your VPN so we can snag your IP address.

“An entire family was killed by someone who’d purchased his CDL.”

That is SO tragic. Ryan should have been convicted as an accomplice to that murder.

“Ryan should have been convicted as an accomplice to that murder.”

The victims were a Pastor, his wife, in a minivan with all their children. 5 or 6 of them if my memory serves. They all burned to death.

The trooper caught taking bribes below is Gary Cedarquist, he made a paltry 220k+. William Cedarquist is his brother who was not involved apparently

Police, judges, lawyers, bailiffs, court buildings etc would not be needed if government did not act like our mother. I don’t need government to tell me to not smoke weed. I don’t do it because I care about my health and body.

It took a bit of digging...

Willis family crash: Friday marks 25 years since 6 children killed in fiery crash that led to George Ryan corruption case
November 8, 2019

Friday marks the 25th anniversary of the crash that killed six members of the Willis family.

Parents Scott and Janet Willis were the only survivors of the fiery van crash on I-94 in Wisconsin near the border in 1994. They lost the six youngest of their nine children.

Their van was struck by a chunk of metal from a truck.

As uncovered by the I-Team, the driver of that truck had received his license by bribing Secretary of State employees working for Gov. George Ryan, who at the time was Illinois secretary of state.

Seventy-five people, including Gov. Ryan, were convicted and the Willis family received $100 million in wrongful death settlements.

Losing six of your nine kids in a crash. Truly OMG.

On one hand I can’t believe it and on the other, I’m from Massachusetts, of course I know it’s true!

“I’m guessing what it is really saying is “disable your VPN so we can snag your IP address.”

Yeah, the Boston Herald website is overloaded with aggressive advertisements.

Maybe they’re also tracking who is reading Howie Carr so the Democrats know who to arrest first when martial law is enacted.

Ah, I see. Thanks! But since this the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and, this is Massachusetts, it’s probably safer to assume William is in the “hasn’t been caught yet” category.

“paltry 220k+”

Just noticing the “paltry” adjective. I’m sure that’s exactly how Gary thinks of that salary.
