According to a news release issued by Animal Care Services, this is the longest punishment for animal cruelty. Frank Javier Fonseca received his first sentence a couple of months back, and his earlier felony convictions led to a larger sentence. The judge convicted Fonseca of crimes of retaliation as well as drug possession- both of which Texas heavily frowns upon.

He should have beat NY Cops instead.
Thats a person not worthy to have any animals of their own.0
Or his wife. He would have got off with just a warning.
I'm guessing he won't be given the opportunity to work with rescue dogs in prison. Hopefully he will serve out his full sentence.
Say, didn’t biden kick his dog? Too bad that wasn’t in Texas. It would solve a major USA security threat and do justice at the same time.
There are murder sentences less than 25 years. While obviously he shouldn’t be beating his dog (assuming it isn’t a swat with a rolled up newspaper on its butt), 25 years seems a bit long. Maybe it was 5 years for the dog and 20 years for the drugs.
30 days in the county jail, plus 12 months probation
at the most
More than a month or so old. The incident happened Feb. 2019.
Way, way back when Donald Trump was our president.
Seems like jurassic times.
You can abort a baby but don’t dare beat your dog.
And then there’s Fauci...
“Our investigators show that Fauci’s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive,”
To say that Fauci is one of the most evil and depraved humans to ever walk the planet earth is a gross understatement.
He killed over 7 million people
Nuremberg II.
NOW.
He would be out already.
Suspended sentence, if you are an illegal immigrant beating a Police dog?
“Thats a person not worthy to have any animals of their own”
Why don’t you go tell him that to his face? Then take the dog from him.
Other than that you’re just projecting the forfeiture of liberties and property. Do you take care of his dog? Then how are you responsible for its welfare?
b.s. article. He didnt get 25 years for beating a dog. Hes a convicted felon out on parole, his parole violations are what got him the real time.
No kidding.
This society clearly values dogs over police.
Giving the guy 25 years for this is absolute lunacy.
Crimes of retaliation.?
