Women voters are giving President Biden’s reelection campaign hope ahead of an expected rematch against former President Trump.

Support for Biden from women is on the rise, a survey published this week found, giving the campaign some optimism amid otherwise tough polling and a challenging 10 months ahead.

The president has put extra attention on appealing to women voters, especially around the anniversary of Roe v. Wade last month. That has dovetailed with stepped-up campaign travel and focus on pivotal states where he needs to win again in 2024, such as South Carolina, Michigan and Nevada.

Votes in 1984 (or 1974, 1994, 2004 and 2014) over candidate's positions on abortion are not a reliable predictor of the future.

Every candidate could be as anti-abortion as he wanted, since pro-deathers were secure in their constitutional "right" and the candidathes themselves could be sure they never would cast a meaningful vote on the issue.

As soon as the blatantly anti-constitutional Roe v. Wade fell, however, it all of a sudden and shockingly got real.

Pro-deathers could legislate abortion. Pro-lifers could restrict it. And both failed to understand the critical nature to voters of access to baby-killing in a free sex environment.

It helps to study Ireland. Abortion was always illegal there, but in 1986, stimulated by Roe in the US, the Irish voters AMENDED THE CONSTITUTION by a 2/3 majority to make abortion always and forever illegal.

1986. Only 38 years ago, or a single generation of a woman's fertility duration.

This amendment was repealed by referendum in 2018 with 66% voting "yes". The repeal triggered week long block parties all over Ireland, with celebrations going on into the early morning.

So what happened? The "amendment voters" in 1986 had no idea what they were doing or what had become of their people. Now they know.

Those who like men and everything about them, Calamity Jane types who prefer hanging out with the biker men and construction workers, enjoy everything about them, their humor and roughhousing, their openness and directness, their manly habits and pursuits, and are open and available to them and their appetites and energy.

The suburban, middle-class women type who want to marry men, and be married to one but who are not devoted to and taken with their world of males and male activities and who have only a combination of mild pleasure and tolerance of their man’s sexual appetites, think of them as enjoying female lunch dates, wine with the girls, hairdresser appointments, shopping, and female pursuits and then the man and the children in the evening at home.

You are blind and adopting a political position if you are going to pretend that the female voter is politically unpersuadable on voting Republican now based on the single issue of abortion.

Women did not turn to stone suddenly because of Roe, they haven’t even turned to pro-abortion stone on that single issue. Political leadership that can lead should be able to reach women as well as men.

Every two years we can skip candidates and propositions. Just have the word “abortion” and a yes or no on every ballot. That’s what they tell us. But they need a reason to buttress Democrat cheating and the normies buy it.

That every election is only about one issue into perpetuity violates every rule of human nature, self preservation, and political science. Nobody’s attention span would be so attached to one issue year after year when they can easily have one.
