Mr Trump dominates the Republican primary. Several polls have him ahead of President Joe Biden in swing states. In one, for the New York Times, 59% of voters trusted him on the economy, compared with just 37% for Mr Biden. In the primaries, at least, civil lawsuits and criminal prosecutions have only strengthened Mr Trump. For decades Democrats have relied on support among black and Hispanic voters, but a meaningful number are abandoning the party. In the next 12 months a stumble by either candidate could determine the race—and thus upend the world.

The Economist people like making large amounts of money and paying as few taxes as possible personally. Some people think this makes them to the right. That this is also the way a bunch of left wing billionaires live their lives does not seem to sink in.
They are for high taxes, for you. They are for paying as little as possible and even will break the law to do it because those things are for little people.
They are the WEF without the German accent.
And while they are making as much money as possible they would like also to squish any upstart that might challenge them in the future like bugs. And also make them eat bugs.
In the 70s to early 80s the Economist was a more friendly publication. It began getting more to the Left while Reagan was in office and very more to the Left ever since.

LOL! Somebody's got the vapors. Constantly telling the world a Trump Victory will mean the end of the world is kinda dopey, since he was President already, and everybody knows the world was a lot better place than it's been since Senile Pedophile in Chief got elected.
That is one of the main messages Trump needs to get out. Add the physical safety of Americans to the list. Locking up criminals, Closing the border, deporting illegal aliens, and not getting us into wars are also priorities.
