Senate Democrats’ lead negotiator announced that a border deal has been struck, but the cabal crafting it will continue to hide the details until the last minute.
“We have a deal,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) announced on X on Friday morning, forecasting that the Senate will continue withholding the details despite barreling forward with a vote.
“This weekend we will release the bill and vote next week,” he said.
Republicans said the border is a priority and we should craft a bipartisan bill to help control the border.
We did that. We have a deal.

Yep, I can’t see the house passing anything that allows the continuation of illegals.... This is clearly just an attempt to further burn US money in Ukraine with zero intent to do anything meaningful on the border.
THe Dems are not serious on the border, Biden could send troops tomorrow if they were, don’t need new laws to do something.
The Speaker can refuse to allow it to be considered. Let’s hope he sticks to that.
If Sen Murphy is involved, it will not be good for the county. We don’t need more laws to stop the border invasion , just enforce the laws on the books. All new laws do is water down the laws that protect our border.
It takes 41 Republicans to filibuster the bill. Who is the deal with — the small group of negotiators, the leadership, or the caucus as a whole?
I think it’s DOA in the Senate.
If Speaker Johnson lets dem bill this happen, he might as well prepare his resignation papers right after.
If Murphy i ok with it, its a loser for Americans.

If is any comfort, our nation’s fate was sealed in 1965, thanks to the immigration law which began changing the racial & ethnic makeup of the country.
