Owning UAL stock can be a
drag on one's portfolio.

Are these a real surge in quality problems, or is it like shark attacks where it feels like there’s a surge but just media events?

DEI.
Fly the faggity skies of United. Buh bye.

I think the problem is the CEO. I think workers are purposely sabotaging their company because of him.

Fly United DEI. No thank you.

Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada 🤮🤮🤮. I refuse to call it that. The last time I flew in it was McCarran Intl, and to me it will always be so.

Plane windshields get cracked just like cars. Media silliness.I agree. Lots of reasons why, none of which we know at this point. (e.g. Bird strike? Hot de-icer on a cold wind screen? Age? Stress crack? Recently serviced?.....)

The media is currently hyper focused on this issue. Blown tires, cracks, and other wear and tear, maintenance, design and manufacturing defects have always existed.
Somewhere out there there is a documentary about all the stuff that falls off of planes and onto the runway. I think it dealt with Heathrow Airport. That said, Boeing and, to a lesser extent, Spirit AeroSystems ( the manufacturer/supplier, not the airline) are certainly having issues.

The DS is trying to restrict people’s movement and freedom of association in any way they can.
If they can’t outright ban something, they can try to over regulate it out of existence.
If that doesn’t work, then make flying so dangerous that people voluntarily quit flying out of legitimate fear for their safety.

This is something that happens periodically and there are procedures for dealing with it. This means the system worked.

Airlines can start offering an “airster” open air flying experience. Like riding in a convertible. At 400 mph and 35,000 feet, it should be quite exhilarating.
