321,079 views Jan 25, 2024 #Russia #BBCNews Russian opposition politician Boris Nadezhdin has said he has more than 100,000 signatures to register for the country’s upcoming presidential election.
President Vladimir Putin "has made lots of mistakes", he told the BBC, "not only the special military operation, he destroyed the constitution of Russia".
Photos on social media have shown people queuing to give their signatures and several opposition figures have voiced their backing for Nadezhdin, though many doubt he will ultimately be allowed to run.
Putin has said he would stand again for a fifth term in office. His re-election is seen as inevitable, with opposition almost non-existent and Russian media completely under his control.
I was just going to say that!
Usually it’s from the 7th floor or above.
The Kremlin deep-state / neo-soviet agenda, has arrested and/or assassinated all opponents of Putin’s regime.
That’s why I’m very suspicious of Mr. Nadezhdin. How come he is the sole opponent to Putin... still alive and not in prison??
I think Putin needs Nadezhdin so he can say that Russia is a “Great Democracy”.
But I could be wrong...
I don’t know anyone here that’s voting for him.
“I don’t know anyone here that’s voting for him.”
Probably best for their health that they keep this to themselves.
At least this will give the unpopular WAR - which is ruining the Russian economy and consuming a whole generation of young Russian men - a chance to be talked about in public ...
something that never would have happened if Putin had no opposition
Boris Nadezhdin the corrupt Biden Regime, Deep Swamp, MSM, GloboHomo selected and approved candidate, for the tiny number of Russians conned into voting GloboHomoNazi.
This guy is a non-entity. He is listed as an independent candidate and polls almost nothing.
The opponents of Putin are generally angry with him for his moderaete approach to Ukraine. They have millions of Reservists and he mobilized only 300K. The primary opposition is raging at this.
It is they who pose the real threat.
This guy served in their Parliament back in 2003. Twenty years ago. He doesn’t represent any significant party, as do the primary Putin opponents.
He WOULD be dead or in prison in North Korea and, oh, in Ukraine as well.
Gonzalo Lira, a US citizen, didn't do anything more this guy and he was imprisoned and killed in Ukraine.
Thanks for posting this and proving how much your side has lied about Putin and the amount of freedom of speech Russians have.
BTW, Putin's approval rating is around 80% so a few antiwar kooks aren't going to prevent him from being reelected.
Zeepers - wokkkies
Gog woke usa
Magog woke nato
Saddam, Kim, and Qaddafi got equally good numbers, likewise “annex” elections also as well(even though they didn’t control all the territories in question.
But hey believe what you want, it’s a free country er ah nevermind
Yes, note to self:
Don’t stand between Mr. Nadezhdin and an open window.
Don’t ride on a plane with Mr. Nadezhdin.
“You and your ilk repeatedly have said Putin is a dictator that doesn’t allow dissent. So, how is it possible this guy is still alive? Why isn’t he in prison?”
Because one or both of these:
1. He’s a shill for Putin to ‘prove’ that Ruzzia isn’t a sham of a democracy, which it is.
2. He has no chance of winning anyway so Putin will let him run and then have him quietly murdered.
Most Russians probably think Putin is too moderate and weak.
I know that is true because Russia isn't behind an iron curtain. Russia vloggers post YouTube videos daily. Some of them are very critical of Putin and the Russian government.
Ignorance and ethnic are dangerous. You suffer from both.
Based on what happened to peaceful J6 protesters, you're clearly wrong.
I guarantee you any election Putin has run in had to fairer than the 2020 election.
“So, how is it possible this guy is still alive?”
I heard he’ll be committing suicide sometime next month.
Such a shame.
