Squad progressive Rep. Cori Bush is under investigation by the Justice Department for allegedly misusing government funds meant for private security.
Punchbowl News first reported that DOJ is conducting the criminal probe into Bush.
On Monday, the Justice Department subpoenaed the House Sergeant at Arms for records related to the misuse of federal security money.

It seemed odd that Wesley Bell, the St. Louis County prosecutor dropped his Senate bid to challenge Bush in Missouri's first Congressional District. Of course, corruption is hardly a negative in this district, which makes up all of St Louis city, and part of north county.

This is how the Demoncrats work.
They couldn't hide the Cori Bush steaming pile any longer, so they bring out the charges, with a new Democrat spearcatcher in place.
Unlike the Republicans, who get rid of their guys like George Santos in mid-stream.

A watchdog has demanded the Federal Election Commission (FEC) investigate the $62,000 Rep. Cori Bush paid her now-husband as a security guard from her campaign account.I'm starting to think these Black elected women think it's O.K. to use other people's money to pay off their boyfriends.

Not odd to me. A black dem running for U.S. Senate would likely be a sacrificial lamb. An honest black man running for MO Hot #1 is winnable, especially if Cori is stupidly corrupt.

It's almost a nothingburger. Omar has done much, much more ... this is nothing more than The White Hospice attempting to shut down the Squat for the rest of an Election Year.

I don’t think Bush and Santos are comparable.
I didn’t know a thing about Bush aside from her odious politics till the indictment. Did you?
With Santos, the stench was very public for months and months.

You've just admitted that the Media tells you what to think.
They were mum about Cori Bush, so you knew nothing.
They were screeching about George Santos 24/7, so you knew ALL about him.
We've even got a whole thread of you vomiting your n00bie know-nothingness all over Santos:

Do you dispute my point that Bush’s misdeeds were an unknown quantity whereas Santos’ were spectacularly public?

Your point is that the Media calls the shots in your world.
If they told you to sit on your thumb, you'd do it.

If she's received threats - which I doubt - the FBI needs to get off their fat butts and track those threats down. I'm assuming that like fake hate crimes these threats are called in overwhelmingly by fellow liberals to keep their lying pity party going. AND to blame conservatives for things we're NOT doing.
