(The Center Square) – A universal income program partially funded by the city of Denver that pays homeless people a regular stipend is eligible to migrants as long as they meet the criteria, according to the city.
The Denver Basic Income Program, which was started in 2021 with the aid of $2 million from the city of Denver, announced it will go at least six months more beginning in February 2024.
The $2 million the city gave Denver Basic Income Project in 2022 was “earmarked for women, families and transgender and gender non-conforming individuals,” according to a city statement to The Center Square. The Denver Basic Income project was open to anyone who met the eligibility requirements. It is funded by public and private money.

I thought the Denver mayor was upset about the number of invaders, but it appears that Denver wants to keep encouraging the flow with extra goodies.
Well, to be liberal, they have to show they don’t discriminate based on citizenship or immigration status.
They feel the need to show they are not discriminating, while at the same time complain about being overloaded with illegal aliens.

The term "women" can't be defined by a current Supreme Court justice. "Families" can mean same-sex partners, dogs, penpals, and/or plants. Ahhh, and then we come to real heart of the "basic income project": those holy, sacred, and unquestionably pure : transgender and non-conforming individuals. I'm willing to bet 98% of our country's population cannot fathom what is going to come down in the next few years.
You get more of what you reward. Normies, pay your taxes for this stuff or you go to jail.

Child Tax Credit turning into welfare-style program for migrants

Conservatives want changes in the Child Tax Credit expansion in the bipartisan tax deal that advanced out of the House Ways and Means Committee, a provision that would prohibit illegal immigrants from claiming the tax benefit.
This legislation, as it stands, would increase the Child Tax Credit from $2,000 to $3,600 but it continues the existing policy of permitting illegal immigrants who file tax returns with tax identification numbers to collect the Child Tax Credit for their children.
The expansion is part of the Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., tax legislation that is moving through Congress after being passed by the House Ways and Means Committee last week.
“The American people are telling us that they’re sick of this wide-open border, and the bill’s eligibility expansion just increases rate and speed at which the tax dollars of hard-working Americans Citizens are going to individuals here illegally,” said Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., former chairman of the House Freedom Caucus in a statement to Just the News on Thursday.
“That’s absolutely something that should be a red line for every single Republican – there should not be one Republican willing to vote for that,” he added.
Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, also said allowing illegal immigrants to collect the Child Tax Credit is a “real problem that we’re concerned about given the current dynamic and what’s going on at the border.”
A GOP congressional source who declined to be identified because he is not authorized to make public policy statements told Just the News that he thinks it’s the wrong move for Congress to turn the Child Tax Credit into a welfare-style program that can be collected even if an individual owes nothing in federal taxes and does not work.
Zero sympathy if these blue states continue to vote blue.

Soon a Colorado married couple will be sitting at the kitchen table late at night in distress over how inflation and taxes are ruining their plans and the TV news will be featuring “Where that homeless and migrant money goes” with several lighting up drugs to smoke and others smiling and relaxing in taxpayer paid housing while watching streaming TV.
