Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump wanted “to preserve chaos” at the U.S.-Mexico border because he thought it was a winning political issue.
Anchor Dana Bash said, “Do you have a deal?”
Murphy said, “Well, we do have a bipartisan deal. We’re finishing the text right now. The question is whether Republicans are going to listen to Donald Trump, who wants to preserve chaos at the border, because he thinks it’s a winning political issue for him, or whether we are going to pass legislation which would be the biggest bipartisan reform of our border immigration laws in 40 years and would give the president of the United States, whether that president is a Republican or a Democrat, new, important power to be able to better manage the flow of people across the border.”

Everyday
More Orwellian back flips by leftist Dems.
No one is fooled.
When Trump was President we did not have all this chaos at the border.
Yeah we are supposed to believe that Trump wants to create and maintain chaos at the border.
And what’s with this talk of being better able to manage the flow of people coming across the border? Why do we need to manage the flow? Why can’t we interrupt and stop the flow?
What’s amazing is these liars actually believe their own lies. At some point they become so reprobate, they don’t know the lie from the truth. STRONG DELUSION.
Met him a few times...Not impressed..
This has been the spin for the last week or so. I don’t think it will catch on though people can see that the border got worse under Biden
Hey Sen Dbag (ct)- The chaos will come when you implement your gun confiscation from law abiding citizens while allowing illegals to be exempt from your gun grabbing
If the honorable Senator Murphy honestly believes that maybe he should counsel his party leader to make a half-hearted attempt to stem the flow of illegal immigration….?
Then really stick it to Trump big time and seal the border. That’ll show him!
Murphy is a moron. It’s his butt buddy Xidenskyyyyyyyyyyy who is preserving chaos at the border. Someone needs to tell Mr. Freak Show from Connecticut here Trump IS NO LONGER PRESIDENT. Just say no to drugs and RAT politicians.
Murphy is one of our slimeball Senators. No surprises here.
Do the Rats have something they are using to Blackmail the Court of Supreme Whim? Right there in the Constitution itself is the obligation of the Federal Government to protect against invasion. How could any Judge , much less two so called ‘Conservative’ judges get this so backwards? On the basis of this ruling alone every single one of the five who ruled against Texas such be impeached and removed!
Indeed. God has turned them over to reprobate minds. Praying that America will return to Him. Look up!
Trump hasn’t had power for 3.5 years. Now we know why Mitch called him thr nominee. It was a way of trying to hang the open border on the only one who wants to close the border.
Democrats need to create and maintain chaos to cower people into voting for their promises of Big Brother security against chaos.
And they assume their opponents must use the same tactic, even though it’s plainly obvious they don’t.
Projection and evil laid bare for all to see.
Regards,
Trying to shame the House into passing this sellout BS.
What about the Republican Senators agreeing to this obvious sham?
I like how Murphy points out the betrayal on this exact same issue during Reagan’s time. This problem was supposed to be fixed then, but just like this joke of an “agreement”, it was ignored and the problem continued, and the exact same results will happen this time too.
The Senate Republicans should be beaten to a bloody pulp over this sellout.
At least Murphy admits that there is chaos at the border, and that - in three years - Biden has only exacerbated it!
Regards,
This clown supports the chaos at the border. Seems the border was calm and quiet when Trump left office.
