A Japanese guy (remember we’d just had a war with them) and a black lady, and a half alien (representing all forms of “mixing”, which was kind of a big deal back then). ALL 100% there to be woke. You’re assuming that caring about race is not woke. The wokesters are the ones who make sure everyone knows that race should divide us. Today they might overuse the word “diversity”, but they’re 24/7 white man bad, just like they were the ones who used to be black man bad.

In TOS nobody ever brought up race unless it had to do with why Spock is always logical. Just like those of us on the right can work with other races and go to church with other races without thinking about it.
