The FBI was pissed because this place didn’t report who was storing stuff, and link it to the Social Security Number (or probably anything else). Makes it MUCH TOUGHER for the FBI to destroy the lives of their enemies when they don’t have this capability.

Yep, good questions and I think we know the answers.
Where the FBI is concerned, I am thinking of a 1-10-100 rule:
1% of the FBI should be hung in the public square
10% of the rest should be in prison
100% of the rest should be unemployed (and unemployable)

No sanctions, no one fired, no one sent to jail...seems more like a mere stumbling block to other future, better “defined” actions.

I’d say that is even money that most of the takings has been repurposed as new cars, boats, etc and the jewelry given to wives and girlfriends. Why else would the FedGov lawyers want the paper trail authorizing the raid to be destroyed.

The raid on Private Vaults, in Beverly Hills, California, happened in March of 2021, only a month after Joe Biden was sworn in as President.
The government would like to suspend the civil rights of the middle class but they are afraid that the same laws would be used against the criminal class who they need as their “muscle”. So it’s a tightrope.
Get one judge to say it is legal and another to say it is illegal and you can choose who you can deny. You can confiscate from Joe MAGA Hat but not MS-13 drug dealer.
Or the men, women and children of the Branch Davidian that burned to death at Waco. That was a total cluster. It could’ve been handled without bloodshed but Oh NO!! the Janet Reno wanted to make a statement. Maybe she will find out firsthand about roasting.
Uh, nope. They seized (stole) from suspected drug lords. Even if forced to return they will skim — who is gonna tell?

Well we know how well the FBI follows court orders...
The FBI goes over the line outside the law > IMO.
