Arizona senate candidate Kari Lake on Wednesday said her campaign was 'a good-versus-evil battle', lashing out against the 'corruption' of the political establishment which tried to convince her to leave politics. Lake, a staunchly pro-Trump former TV news anchor, held a live social media Q&A after a tumultuous few days. On Tuesday, DailyMail.com published audio of the head of Arizona's Republican party, Jeff DeWit, offering her money to get out of politics. The clip was recorded in March 2023 - four months after her unsuccessful bid to become governor of Arizona, and when she was weighing her political future. On Wednesday, DeWit resigned, and accused Lake's team of attempting to blackmail him. Lake on Wednesday night said DeWit's behavior was evidence of the 'corruption' plaguing the United States, and trashed his resignation letter - pointing out he did not apologize to the people of Arizona.

Well, ya got me there.
He was trying to bribe her; and he is claiming that while having the tape over him, she was blackmailing him.
That’s what needs to happen, supposedly Kari Lake has additional recordings from this guy that are more explosive, if you want to get rid of corruption regardless of party, then release everything and let’s find out who all is involved.
” an understatement, of Biblical proportions”
Bump
Absolutely correct.
> It’s not really either. It’s called trying to buy someone off. If a person isn’t in public office, it’s not a bribe.
I stand corrected; thanks.
This sure smells like Turtle.
Turtles dwelling in Swamps tend to stink real bad
How much was she offered?
Let’s see the attributes of the people she is fighting.
Pro baby killing
Pro illegal invasion
Pro crime
Pro drug use
Pro deviate lifestyles
Anti religion
Anti family
Anti free speech
Liars
Cheats
Ye shall know a tree by the fruit (or fruits) it bears.
Kari is correct.
Why didn’t Lake say something publicly about this as soon as it happened?
Pretty pathetic, cucks.
He also made a veiled threat mentioning the cartels.
The could have offered her a position on the Board of Boeing! Oh, that was Haley..
They could have offered her a position on the Board of Fox News! Oh, that was Paul Ryan.
They could have offered her a senior vice president of Lockheed Martin!
Oh, that was Comey.
The list is long.
Corruption of biblical proportion. Exactly.
And that corruption is wholly wedded to the promotion of perversions aplenty, as the corruption grows.
Actually, DeWitt was the first Trump supporter in Arizona.
He pretty much orchestrated Trump Az victory in 2016, when Lake was still a TV star on ABC.
And, suggesting somebody not to run is very standard in politics. In March 23, it was just after all Trump endorsed candidates in AZ lost.
No wonder he thought Trump endorsement in AZ was loosing proposition.
Mitch McConnell put him up to this.
She did. She did not say who or provide the tape at the time.
fixed it for ya.
Just the fact that the McCain RepukeLickings are willing to hand over political control "temporarily" to their swell pals the Democrats should tell us all something.
And it ain't good.
AZ Republicans are in the middle of intraparty battle.
All kind of dirty tricks are being played.
It seems that the “purists” are winning over the total control of the party.
They are great in intraparty and primary battles, but surely total 100% losers in the general elections.
None of the Trump purists won anything since 2016!
And most of them do not even bother to run, just seem to be enjoying the control of the party, as it gives them some kind of pervert satisfaction!
The (maybe sad) fact is that Arizona general population kind of likes moderate Republicans (like it or not). When they got a Purist vs liberal, many vote for the liberal, unfortunately!
The Democrats are having fun!
It reminds me of California some twenty years ago.
Republicans were getting “purer” in the state which was turning left. They surely created a totally left state out of one in the middle.
The CA Republicans are now a laughing stock. I see AZ Republicans that way pretty soon!
Sad
It is not temporary. I believe AZ is lost forever. Going the California way.
House divided cannot stand.
I never liked McCain, but he surely was better than Mark Kelly, who now holds his seat!
