Star Trek is fiction. Even if you had a spaceship full of 40+ year old PhD’s traveling to new worlds, there would still be a lot of Fing going on.

We just pretend that it was somehow different and wholesome in the past. What’s changed is our society and the rules we play by today. They are unrealistic. We’re putting forbidden food in front of hungry people and then screaming at them when some do decide to partake in it.

Human biology hasn’t changed. Society has.

Today you graduate from high school, go to college and get married at 28.6 - 31 years of age, start a career, and THEN start thinking about having children. Then we act surprised when a kid gets knocked up at 17 (sex hormones start really flowing ~ 12 - 15 and that is when the curiosity and desire starts). This is really an issue about basic biology, the stuff we learned about in 9th grade.

Here’s the options:

(1) No female - male integration, US and many others in the past.

(2) If you’re going to integrate, stop seeing it as something bad and wrong, accept and deal with it. When you put boys and girls together, ESPECIALLY if it’s months or even over a year at a time, and you have 4 boys for every girl, combat stress, and many are thinking that they might bite the big one (concern for consequences goes down), crazy things are going to happen.

However, if you’re going to have a lot of young boys and girls in close proximity for extended times, don’t act surprised and do not crucify those that do these things.

I'm against integration in the military. I believe that women can serve. But not the way we're doing it. The job of the military is to break stuff.

We've posted many threads on this subject but all of this woke crap is turning off the White Males.

Just read the posts on this thread about responsible veterans who knew what the military required of them and they behaved. You can have your randy behavior out of uniform and off-base. There’s no place for it on active duty, in uniform or on base.

You are mixing up civilian behavior and expectations with military behavior and expectations. They are different. People going into the military understand that and most behave as expected (as the vets on this thread have said).
