New edict affects all of Moscow's historic holdings across three continents, including former imperial colonies in the US.
Russia has laid the groundwork for expanding its soft power across North America and Asia with a new decree Vladimir Putin signed last week.
The new order provides funds to search, register and provide legal protection to Russian properties abroad – including land and buildings located in former Russian Empire and Soviet Union territories.
Among the areas affected by the new decree is Alaska, which was sold to the United States in 1867 and still hosts communities with close links to Russia.
Parts of central and eastern Europe, Scandinavia as well as large chunks of Asia were also once part of the former empire.

It was the hub of the southernmost Russian settlements in North America from 1812 to 1841. Notably, it was the first multi-ethnic community in northern California, with a combination of Native Californians, Native Alaskans, Russians, Finns and Swedes.Because Fort Ross was such a diverse settlement, Joe might want to hold onto it for a while longer.
It's in move-in condition for Russians.
Medvedev just declared war on the U.S. over Alaska. Talk to him.

It’s at least as credible as The Expose which is posted frequently.
That’s all they know how to do.
They obviously don’t know how to check a rifle and handgun in at the airport with the rest of their gear and catch the next flight to Kiev, to fight for democracy.
Zeepers just wanna Zeep.
So , remember when Mumbles said a “minor incursion” wouldn’t be a concern. Ivan then “minor concerned” Ukraine. I expect Alaska would be another “minor concern.?”
Tell Medvedev to put down the vodka bottle and stop declaring war on the U.S.
Vodka theory.
Here we go...scare people about Russia and then imply that Trump is in league with him. So transparent.

Even Vald did not want the formerly Moscovian parts of California back
why would we sell almost 20% of the US to Moscovia?
Well, the US bought North Mexico from Mexico, after a war, and bought Alaska from the Russians, both practically unsettled swaths of land full of wild savages.
Now the work of civilizing and modernization is all done, (Like Lazy Daisy-Head Mayzie) “The work is all done, now WE WANT IT BACK!”
I suppose France will demand Louisiana back.
I heard they’re going to take over Mars soon, right after they build a military base on the moon.
Russia:
55% our ground forces
47% our air forces
43% our naval forces
44% our population
40% the number of men reaching military age
10% our GDP / ~ 20% our PPP
Less industry
Less high tech
Less allies
Weaker allies (their most powerful ally Belarus is comparable to the Netherlands in military might, only with crap equipment, lower morale...)
The ONLY area where Russia shares parity with us (albeit without including our allies which actually net makes us stronger there too: UK and France) is nuclear deterrence.
—Meanwhile, as we concoct ever greater Russian boogieman stories, it is us building military bases on their border, trying to over throw their aligned nation Venezuela, butted into their formal ally Syria, over threw the government in Libya which was aligned with them, and invaded Iraq which was aligned with them.

—We have brought the border nations and former Soviet Republics of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia into NATO, tried to bring in the Republic of Georgia (which the Russians stopped) and recently Ukraine (which the Russians stopped) into NATO. Of course we decided that our promise of no NATO expansion into former Soviet Republics, made to the Russians in 1994, doesn’t count. And of course our withdraw from the Ballistic Missile Treaty which also impacts the situation in Ukraine we do not discuss either. And Minsk is completely irrelevant for us and most people don’t even know what that is, so well informed is the Western public from our entirely non-propagandist MSM.
It seems to me that it’s not them stomping all over our turf: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug2468hDl6E
While our BS MSM and big tech sell us this narrative, pushed by a uni-party in DC which really just represents the interests of our big corporations and financial institutions, there is near silence regards mainland China, i.e. the PRC which actually does have some economic might, people, and military hardware.
I’m worried, but not about Russia.
Come and Take It!
“Up yours vlad...”
I knew we’d find some BIDEN CHEERLEADERS here.
Well, Vlad, we want Wrangel Island back!
So, stuff that into your pipe and smoke it!
