Sergey Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister, thanked his North Korean counterpart, Choe Son Hui, for supporting the Kremlin's war in Ukraine, South Korean news outlet Yonhap News has reported.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Lavrov hosted Choe on Tuesday to discuss bolstering ties amid reports of an arms cooperation deal between Moscow and Pyongyang. His comments underscore the Kremlin's increasing dependence on North Korea for weaponry.

Remember way back when the Norko’s were loosening up and there were even talks between the north-south, there was no Uke war, peace agreements were all the rage in the mid-east, sea trade was unhindered, gas was cheap and everyone had a good paying job.....
Wait. That was just 3 1/2 years ago. What happened?
Stolen elections have consequences.
Says a lot right there -- Russia depending on the failed state North Korea...
You can always judge people by who they call their friends.
Russia, North Korea, Iran.

Such a deal!
Russian mortar Roulette 3 out of 4 no fire

Wow. I mean, making a functional mortar just is not that hard. Any competent engineer or person with any mechanical skills in the US could make one out of stuff you can buy in any gun shop and hardware store.
You can always judge people by who they call their friends.
Is this about the USA WW2 alliance with Stalin ?
“Is this about the USA WW2 alliance with Stalin ?”
Yes, it is. The USA and North Korea should know better than to keep company with uncultured and savage Ruzzian barbarians.
—”Wow. I mean, making a functional mortar just is not that hard.”
But it does require standard dimensions of all components... like the OD of the fins centered on the firing pin and overall OD so the round drops smoothly down the tube.
That said some of the rounds do fire, an extended hangfire of the dud round on the pile might scare the crew away. for a very long time.
What omelette doink?
Russia decided to invade Ukraine, Zhirinovsky all but confirmed it weeks before the final ultimatum to NATO had been written, the West publicly denied it was on, Zelenskyy didn’t believe it would happen until January 2022, and the day before the SMO kicked off, all the Putintard useful idiots were decrying the “western propaganda” about an imminent invasion that had actually been leaked by Shiogu and Zhirinovsky.
North Korea watched as everybody except the neocons were denying what they already knew was happening, and thought “if Putin can launch a very well signposted invasion without facing any meaningful consequences then so can we”.
>gas was cheap<
Drill, baby, drill! coming our way in Jan. 2025.
History lesson for the intentionally uninformed:
After 9-11, the US wanted to hunt down BinLaden in Afgan. They used the Norther Alliance [”NA”] - remember them? Fought for a year and crushed organized resistance for the American occupation. The NA was RUSSIAN trained and led by RUSSIAN officers. Why did they help? Because Bush 1 begged Putin for that help, and against his own advisors Putin granted that help. What did US do? Gave the Putin the middle finger and expanded NATO and scuttled the ABM treaty. Betrayal #1.
Ukeland, a country that never existed before Stalin created it in the ‘40’s and that has a per capita income of $4,000/year, built up the best trained, best equipped and 2nd largest army in Europe, 2nd only to Russia, all starting in the ‘90’s. How? Salaries of their massive armies, advanced weapons, training was all given by NATO. On the russkie border. Held elections in 2014 after the prior gov was overthrown, disqualified all russian votes in the now captured areas of Uke, and launched a campaign to cleanse the region of ethnic russians. NATO then prepped Uke land for membership, with the intention of putting NATO nukes within 100 miles of Moscow. When the russkies tried the same in 1967 in Cuba, the US first tried invading, lost, then blockaded russian ships, threatening to sink them if they continued. But the russkies should not have the same buffer from western weapons as we demanded of them. Betrayal #2.
Russkies went diplomatic, agreeing to 2 different treaties with Uke, guaranteed by ‘western powers’ France and Germany but not the US. The treaties were then ignored and those western powers now gloat they lied and did it only to give Uke ‘time’ to arm up for war against russia. Betrayal #3.
OK russiaphobes, you’ll call me names, but none of you can argue the russkies have any reason to believe a word the west has to say. The west created and armed Uke specifically to go to war with russia, the russians naively thought they could negotiate their way out, discovered that was impossible, and now you’re bitching because it turns out the russkies are far more formidable and resilient than your fantasies about it.
Yes, but it's really not that hard to do. Won't give details because I don't want to teach some crazy lurker how to do it.
PS I have a couple engineering degrees and a lot of experience, so maybe my perspective is a little different.
