Not sure how many people would have been killed if Iran had succeeded in blowing up that restaurant but most of them would have been Americans just going about their business that day in 2011.

Iraqi insurgents used to dig a hole thru the wall along the road from mil BIAP to bury IEDs they’d trigger against coalition forces as they were coming from the airfield. So he got blown up along the route of his own handiwork. Justice served, not lost on those of us familiar with OIF.
