Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-IL) claimed Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Republicans were trying to take away Americans’ freedoms.
Pritzker said, “Independents understand that, as Democrats do, that it’s the Republicans that are trying to take your freedoms away. It’s the Republicans that are trying to take away your Social Security and your Medicare. It’s the Republicans that are basically fighting against the working families of America.”

Social Security and Medicare are not freedoms. In fact if I had to freedom to use my FICA deductions as I pleased, my pension earnings would be twice what they’d be with Social Security, and I’d be able to pass on the principal to my heirs (which I can’t do with my Social Security contributions).
Plus he doesn’t know squat about “working people” - his fat posterior hasn’t done a lick of work in his life, though he did have the good sense to be born into a family with assets in the billions.

And where does much of Social Security money go?
To pay property taxes to fund the education of children of people paying taxes to fund Social Security and Medicare.
Government programs are often band-aids to deal with the problems created by other government actions.
Or Mr. Anti 2nd Amendment. Plus, his family is the MONEY behind the organized child mutilation racked. His sister is Claudine Gay’s biggest supporter. The entire clan should be asked to fly on one of Elon Musk’s rockets programmed to fly towards the Sun ONLY.

Where does “freedom” end and “license” and “entitlement” start? Freedom does not give dispensation to act like an oaf or an outlaw, bashing and smashing accepted boundaries on behavior, these boundaries being the lubricant that allows people to act in a civilized manner.

They have robbed the money American citizens have put into the national treasury, while devaluing their earnings and savings - depriving them of the freedom to self-determine and have a happy financially secure life. They proclaim themselves virtuous while they give other nations (and the able-bodied here who choose not to work) the shirts off the backs of hard-working Americans.
Rights? The only rights that Democrats and the left want you to have are the rights to live as they say, and to worship their self-perceived superiority.

Considering that he runs a state with one-party rule, he seems awfully nervous about something.
I don’t think so, since we pay for both with money deducted from every paycheck,whether you work for yourself or someone else-then after 65, you still pay in if you work for yourself/someone else if you have 25-30K after deductions. And you pay medicare premiums every month from your SS check forever and ever, no matter what. Those are not “freedoms” because you have to pay to get it...
