A Brooklyn high school principal lashed out at parents who ripped her decision to boot students out of the classroom the day after 2,000 migrants moved in for a night.
“How dare someone say that I don’t care about kids,” roared James Madison High School principal Jodie Cohen on a Zoom call Tuesday at parents seething that she “sold the kids out” by having them go remote the day after the migrants were evacuated from Floyd Bennett Field because of a torrential rain storm.

How much was this principal bribed ?
I see no reason why a school with no students in it even needs a principal.
Fire her.
“PARENTS, KNOW YOUR PLACE. OUR MIGRANTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU AND YOUR BRATS.” /sarc
America First.
Jodie needs her ass fired and miggies moved into her office.
Send the first fifty to her house.
The principal might be right here. I would not want students in the same building as illegals. And I would not want students in a building shortly after illegals left. The building would have to be thoroughly inspected first.
The real culprit here is the person who decided to move illegals into a school building in the first place. And I don’t think that was the principal.

Females should not be principles. Just sayin.
Americans pay taxes which means Principal, YOU work for US.
You don’t like it, you are free to resign.
The migrants were rushed back to Floyd Bennett Field by 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, but Madison students continued with the remote learning plan at Cohen’s request, City Hall said.
Madison students returned to their in-person lessons on Thursday, even after bomb threats were called into the school over the decision to temporarily shelter migrants there, according to cops.
Folks, the system worked. More local push back is needed.
Use your outdoor voice...........................
So now it’s all about the principal, huh?
“”I see no reason why a school with no students in it even needs a principal.””
LOL - that was fast AND TRUE!
> WHO MADE THAT DECISION <
I did a little more digging. All I could find was that “city officials” made the decision to house the illegals in that school. The principal was just told to get everyone out of the building by 5 PM.
The more I think about it, the more I think the principal made a very wise decision. Sure, she could have opened the school as soon as the illegals left. But who knows what the illegals left behind. Used needles, drugs, poop, etc.
No way should kids return to such a place until after it is throughly inspected and cleaned. So, yeah. The principal did good.
She and her bloated union pals get paid regardless. Plus more time off
It’s better than covid

Nice way for demcrats to bring more young people to the Republican Party...
> Always more to the story than headlines and drive by comments. <
Yes, indeed. But I don’t blame the drive by comments here. For one, I’m usually the king of drive by comments. And two, the NY Post did a horrible job reporting on this story.
The Post made it seem like the principal was calling all the shots here. If anything, she was a victim (as I noted in my post #8). The city commandeered her school, then left it to her to pick up the pieces.
That’s how I see it, anyway.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
