Report: American Journalist Gonzalo Lira Has Died While Imprisoned In Ukraine

WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – 55-year-old American journalist Gonzalo Lira has reportedly died in a Ukrainian prison after nearly eight months of imprisonment.

According to the Post Millennial, Lira was arrested by Ukrainian security in May 2023 after he was reportedly critical of President Vladimir Zelensky’s handling of the war being fought against Russian forces in Eastern Ukraine.

Lira’s comments included claims that Ukraine’s efforts to win the captured territory back have gone nowhere and their people are dying for a war that is already lost.

Lira’s father, Gonzalo Lira Sr., provided a statement on his son’s death to The Grayzone, saying, “I cannot accept the way my son has died. He was tortured, extorted, and incommunicado for 8 months and 11 days, and the US Embassy did nothing to help my son. The responsibility of this tragedy is the dictator Zelensky, with the concurrence of a senile American president, Joe Biden.”

Ukrainian officials stated in a press release when Lira was initially arrested that he was “one of the first to support the Russian invaders and glorify their war crimes.” They stated that he had “engaged in discrediting the top military and political leadership and the defense forces of our state.”

According to the BBC, which spoke to a Ukrainian soldier on the frontlines in December, Lira’s comments appear to have contained some truth, as Russian forces have repelled numerous Ukrainian counter-offensive attempts, which have depleted large portions of their experienced fighting force. The soldier stated the troops feel left behind at this point, saying, “No one knows the goals. Many believe that the command simply abandoned us. The guys believe that our presence has more political than military significance. But we just did our job and didn’t get into strategy.”

When asked by the outlet to describe in detail how bad their manpower shortage has become, the soldier stated, “There are a lot of young guys among us. We need people, but trained people, not the green ones we have there now. There are guys who have spent just three weeks in training and only managed to shoot a few times.”

The BBC reported that the Ukrainian force’s ability to man the frontlines could soon end as over 20,000 men have fled Ukraine since the start of the war, which has led Ukraine to only secure small victories in recent months, which included the recapture of small pieces of territory that were strategically abandoned by Russian forces.

Other than Megan, who’s able to respect people she disagrees with, one can safely assume that the Ukraine Cheerleaders are POPPING Champagne Corks over the death of this American.

> Here's the crazed, mentally-ill US tranny military spokesperson, hired-then-fired by Ukraine's regime, gloating about it.

WE are the (neo) Marxists now.<

The patch on the tranny's pouch says "F$$K Putin". (I censored the spelling.) Behavior typical of troglodyte zeepers.

I wonder if it posts on this site.

His trial a few weeks ago was conducted with Lira in the prison hospital for pneumonia.

For those over fifty, not in greatest health, pneumonia is a serious health risk.

Evidence for this? Second, why bother?

Except to few corners of the internet, to the rest of the world Gonzalo Lira was loud mouth scammer who got some bigger attention because he would not shut up.
He was a grifter and scammer first and foremost. Everything else he did was second place to support his grifting and scamming.

Evidence for this? (when you put a respirator on someone with pneumonia)

Fe2+ -NO+O2 ---> Fe3+ -ONOO- ---> F3+ + NO-3 -ONOO is Peroxynitrite Reaction is speed up with pressure of O2 Nitric oxide and iron proteins

This is how they murdered(medical malpractice) most people in the early stages of Covid in 2020.

To keep a person alive when they're low on O2 you give them an IV of Thiamine which gives O2 directly to the blood.

What was Lira scamming?

Journalism died with the suicide of Gary Webb. When he shot himself with a shotgun in the head. Gary then managed to pick up a different weapon and shoot himself in the head a second time. Then he thrown that second weapon in to a near by lake.

Then they made it clear with Julian Assuage. It doesn't matter if you're dead or alive you simply can't be a Journalist in the US.

Doesn't matter what Trump does. They already have a plan to dump the economic system sometime in 2025 IMO

This is my outline of what I understand about Lira from what I have learned over the last two years. I am leaving off my pro-Ukraine tag line, because this is not about Ukraine. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. Lira was never a friend to anyone except his own self promotion.

He had a decades long history of grifting and scamming people. He claimed to have worked for the CIA, was a writer, filmmaker, economics advisor, dating coach, or political commentary. In all cases what he claimed for himself was well above his abilities. He went where he could draw attention to himself.

I looked into his publicly available past when he started getting attention and to me lots of red flags came up. His scam to get attention was to find a audience, like those against aiding Ukraine, and tell them what they wanted to hear in a intellectual sounding manner.

This time he was he was playing a game way above his head when he could be held accountable. The first time he was arrested in 2022, it was for spying for Russia. He gave up a bunch of Russian agents in a plea deal. House arrest and prosecution after the war or deportation. He chose house arrest, got paranoid about Russians killing him. After a welfare check he asked to be voluntarily self deported. Two Ukrainian police escorted him on a train to Poland, IIRC.

For the year he was doing his round table on YouTube, while claiming to be in Kharkiv, he was actually outside of Ukraine, probably most of his time in the Netherlands (he let that slip out in his "debate" on YouTube with Destiny and Lazerpig). To those who figured out he was lying about where he was, that said a lot about how blind his audience was, assuming his audience was not mostly bots.

Then he came back to Ukraine when he could have stayed out. How could he run his livestreams from Kharkiv when he was not in Ukraine? To his followers, who cares about facts like that?

Returning to Ukraine violated the terms of his self deportation. After he was released pending trial, he tried to leave the country across the Hungarian border, and posted a video of it. It was that video where he claimed he was tortured in prison while the guards looked the other way. The way he was allegedly abused was by having a tooth brush rubbed across his eyes. Watching him says this, no surprise to those who know he is a liar, his eyes looked normal.

So Ukraine is going to arrest him, let him get abused in prison in ways that could blind him, release him, and he's going to travel a few hundred miles with sore eyes? True believers, those who want to be told what they want to hear, don't care about the holes in his story.

An aside note. Scott Ritter called out Lira stating he had been turned. Ritter is as much of a verbal con artists as Lira, so I think he called out Lira to protect his credibility. That's what Ritter gets for hanging out with the bottom barrel of internet commentary.

For political commentary, Gonzalo Lira he was like Q and Q anon. To the true believers he was just shy of a messianic figure. To those who know and understand more than what the press reports, he was a loudmouthed nuisance. If they knew of him at all.

I follow Q. I liked Lira. So you're right. He was liked by Q followers. Does that mean I believe they were always honest?
Nope. Do I care? no.
Why? Because the one thing they did have in common was they had us look into issues not simply listen. Which is the opposite of MSM none player characters.

looking at his last video 1:21 in this video: His left eye was puffed up which is the only eye he claimed was damaged. By a toothpick scratching in the white of his eye he said. Could it have been from dirt he rubbed in his eye for optics? Yes. it could've. was it? IMO: not likely as the eye would still be blood shot.
I notice in this same video he had lazy eye of the left eye. The eyes do not track each other. An angry guard would be annoyed by that I would imagine.

Widget Jr: Whatever you don't be a None Player Character(NPC) for the state. Think for yourself.
