Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said Monday that she will vote against any bill that results from the $1.6 trillion top-line funding agreement reached Sunday.
Greene said the effort, led by Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), doesn’t include enough funding for GOP priorities.
“I am a NO to the Johnson Schumer budget deal,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “This $1.6 Trillion dollar budget agreement does nothing to secure the border, stop the invasion, or stop the weaponized government targeting Biden’s political enemies and innocent Americans.”
“So much for the power of the purse!” she added.

Very few in D.C. give a rip about the USA.
1.6 T? Is Johnson out of his mind? What a backstabber.
I want to like Johnson. I want him to succeed.
But this sweetheart deal with Chuck U does not help.
She had some deal with Kevin McCarthy. That’s why she voted for his bills.
Another GOP loss. Anyone else tired of losing, on everything.
I like Mike Johnson, but when you make deals with the devil, you’re just another D.C. politician. A pox on all their houses.
If it takes shutting the government down to get a real budget, shut it down!
Looks like Johnson is another empty suit.
Well, apparently, very few in the USA give a rip about the USA either, since they keep sending the same sort of losers (such as the weirdo Mike Johnson) to D.C.
They're called "representatives" for a reason.
It’s a RINO suit and it’s full.
And, from the looks of it, another GOP closeted homosexual to boot. But I suppose that's neither here nor there for present purposes.
For every Republican that votes against it, there are six RINOs who will vote for it with the Dung Beetle Party.
Yep, the NY RINO contingent alone are enough to allow this to pass with 100% of Dems supporting it.
When your enemy is in 100 percent support for a bill, it is a very good bet the deal is not a good one and in fact a bad one.
Why on earth would you say that?
Despite a different name (Johnson vs McCarthy) it is same - o same - o. The “leadership” may change, but the surrender to the uniparty continues on.
Johnson is a grave disappointment if he signs off on this.
Hooray for Marjorie!
Shut er down!
Including interest on the debt? Imagine the consequences. How about Social Security? Imagine those consequences.
