Is Georgia’s election system constitutional? A federal judge will decide in trial set to begin

ATLANTA (AP) — Election integrity activists want a federal judge to order Georgia to stop using its current election system, saying it’s vulnerable to attack and has operational issues that could cost voters their right to cast a vote and have it accurately counted.

During a trial set to start Tuesday, activists plan to argue that the Dominion Voting Systems touchscreen voting machines are so flawed they are unconstitutional. Election officials insist the system is secure and reliable and say it is up to the state to decide how it conducts elections.

Georgia has become a pivotal electoral battleground in recent years with national attention focused on its elections. The election system used statewide by nearly all in-person voters includes touchscreen voting machines that print ballots with a human-readable summary of voters’ selections and a QR code that a scanner reads to count the votes.

I knew this was coming...Georgia safeguards will be null and void by or before the election.

I think this is what conservative Georgians have been wanting for three years. Finally a chance to change the voting equipment and procedures. I just hope conservatives have all the evidence needed to win this case. They had three years to amass it together. Should be an easy win.

I would say this...if the judge says the system isn’t meeting standards...I would have doubts they can ‘rig’ up a replacement system in time to meet the November election.

Note, if you wanted extra evidence to invalidate electronic voting...I believe the German Constitutional Court in March of 2009...reviewed all the evidence and said the system could not provide the protection required...so they still do paper ballots even today.

any election of someone other than a grade A FDA approved UniParty candidate will be deemed “un-Constitutional”...just like in the Soviet Union

From 2006...

Update: Is 'vote flipping' an e-voting problem or user error? Do e-voting machines mistakenly give votes to the wrong candidates?

Q: Why do states that don't use RCV use RCV-enabled voting machines...?

🤔

Georgia doesn’t have an election system. It has nothing but corruption. Georgia is in insurrection and its politicians should be hanged.

Votes must be recorded on a paper ballot and the ballot preserved in a secure location.

To allow rapid count, the paper can be scanned and counted

Lol, “votes” are recorded on a piece of paper with a QR code that “represents” your ballot.

So if the Federal Judge rules against the current system, where does this leave Georgia against Trump trial? My guess is that ruling would stop the trial in it’s tracks!

.......election activists plan to argue.......
<><>that Ga’s Dominion Voting Systems touchscreen machines are flawed
<><>that computer touchscreen voting is unconstitutional.
<><>Ga’s Election officials say the system is secure and reliable
<><>Ga says the state should decide how it conducts elections.

All of the dirty work is done BEFORE the voting machine is in the polling place.

<><>malicious software can be installed,
<><>the cheating done w/ temporary physical access (voters in the polling place)
<><>or remotely from election management systems.
<><>once installed, such malware “alters votes”
<><>and subverts all the procedural protections “guaranteed” by the State.
<><>Some voters have seen their votes for one candidate “switch” to the opposing candidate.
<><>A single touchscreen vote can be recorded internally as, say, 5 votes (and counted as 5 votes).

There are so many ways to “fix” touchscreen voting
in favor of a particular candidate, it’s mind boggling.
All you need are unscrupulous candidates.

BTW, computer checkouts at some hotels are notoriously suspect.

They will print out your hotel bill in one amount,
but will bill your credit card for a higher amount.

I still think that Ratzenberger’s signing of the Consent Decree with the Democrat Party was unconstitutional according to Georgia election laws.

With Governor Kemp’s tacit approval he entered into an agreement with Democrats on procedures of how absentee and mail-in ballots would be signature-verified. This all occurred after Stacy Abrams first lost her gubernatorial run.

Deep State has a mad-on for hand-counting ballots...

There’s a very good reason Deep State hates hand counting, isn’t there...

THE ‘CONSENT’ DECREE

Did you know that since 1982, the Republican Party had been legally prohibited from contesting elections due to suspected vote fraud, because of a legal agreement called the Consent Decree the GOP made with the Democrat Party?

The 1982 Consent Decree allowed the Dems Carte Blanche voter/election fraud for years.

How many think that the democrats would have ever “consented” to something like this?

A ‘consent’ decree by the GOP with the Democrat Party is not the same as a consent decree by Georgia’s Secretary of State Raffensperger to alter the way signatures are verified on cast mailed-in and absentee ballots.
