President Joe Biden’s attempt at celebrating lower gas prices is not going over well.
On Thursday, Biden posted on X, formerly Twitter, “Right now, the average driver in America is spending over $100 less than if gas prices had stayed at their peak.”
The post comes as AAA reports the average price for a gallon of gas sits at $3.09 per gallon, down from $3.26 a year ago.
In June 2022, the national average price for a gallon of gas hit $5.
However, the post did not go over well with users on X.

While gas prices have seen a decline since 2022, there is a chance they could start to tick back up again as OPEC+ announced plans to cut the production of crude oil by 2 million barrels a day.
Lower than when?

That’s like saying “Today gas prices are lower than when they were higher”
I suppose people can relate to prices and this argument, but the far bigger issue is his war on all fossil fuels and his effort to ban gasoline cars and natural gas furnaces and appliances.
The boy needs to stick to his JanUmpteenth Insurrectumy Celebration with Harris. Hopefully, they won’t start tearing down statues of white men at Valley Forge and looking for bodies of white American soldiers to dig up.
All that proves is that prices we see now could have been the prices for the last three years if Biden had been drilling all along.
And, of course, Biden will immediately go back to suppressing the oil supply if reelected.

Biden’s administration has sold off more than 40 percent of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to help lower the price of gas before the election.
Tell that to the people in CAlifornia.
Still up 75% per gallon than when he took office.

And sold to who?? When Billy Boy Clinton sold off some of the Reserve, some of it went to Occidental Oil, an historic Gore Family company.
