Presidential hopeful Chris Christie on Wednesday said that he would not pardon former President Donald Trump if he is convicted of crimes.
During an appearance on The View, Christie didn't even let co-host Joy Behar finish the question when pointing out that opponents Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley had already pledged to pardon Trump, asking if he would do the same.
“No, no, no, no,” Christie said.
“As a governor, I issued pardons,” Christie explained. “And one of the things you have to do is look at the person. The person has to accept responsibility for what they did. Do you think Donald Trump will ever accept responsibility for anything he did?”
Christie went on to say it would be the "easiest" decision he would ever made for a pardon.
“You don’t accept responsibility? Too bad. Go to jail," the former New Jersey governor said.
I have a greater chance of being President than Christie. Why the hell does anyone care who he would ‘pardon’ or what color drapes he would put in the Oval Office?
This article is stupid and a propaganda piece for democrats. I hope the write was bribed rather than just being a fool.
Christie should attend Fat Con this weekend in Seattle. He’d be a hit there at least.
I wish someone would prosecute this POS for shutting down that bridge to punish a local politician for insufficient loyalty and then let his staffers go to prison for it just to save his own vindictive and arrogant fat ass.
I think I have a better chance at pardoning Trump than Christy ever would.
Dollars to donuts says he would.
😂😆🤣
And here I thought he was passing wind...no, turns out he was SPEAKING. That’s the problem when you can’t tell one end from another. I hear his driver’s license picture portrays his ginormous behind in similar confusion.
That’s a bold statement from a last place fat man. (Hat tip to Rooster Cogburn).
