Texas Governor Greg Abbott has defied NYC Mayor Eric Adams demands on when migrants can arrive in the city - with the latest busload set to be dropped off just as the Times Square ball drops on New Years Eve.
Last week Adams issued an executive order that buses could only arrive at Port Authority to drop off migrants between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. from Monday to Friday unless given permission to do otherwise.
Despite this a bus headed to the Big Apple filled with around 50 asylum seekers left El Paso, Texas around 11a.m. on Saturday morning.

“Immigrant”: Which way to my free hotel room with room service? I want my free health care and cell phone now or I’ll sue you.
Can we hook them up with the NYC NYE Gaza protestors? I feel these two groups deserve each other.
Love to see the guilty sinners (New Yorkers) squirm.🥳😇🤸👍
This is going to be some show.
Only 50? That’s like 5 minutes worth of in.vaders.
Its a sanctuary city. If they don’t want them, then don’t legally shelter them.
There are the need for social safety nets. However, there is a huge difference between enabling bad behavior and giving people a helping hand. Democrats don’t seem to understand the difference.
Texas gets 1000s of illegals per day. If a few dozen go to NY, what happens to the rest?
Texas should cut all welfare for illegals and help them apply for welfare in sanctuary locations like NY and D.C. Carrot and stick.
Isn’t it precious that Adams in NY thinks a governor in TX should, or would, obey any Exec Order? How arrogant, presumptuous, and clueless is THAT?
Abbott should ship all of ‘em to CA where they’re guaranteed free healthcare. Maybe the illegals will self deposit to CA, anyhow.
The sad truth is that illegals always have had free healthcare in CA, and have jumped the line in front of Americans paying for healthcare. Having lived there for ten years I’ve seen it in action, and have been “jumped over” by freeloading illegal aliens.
Same at the border, illegals can only arrive 08:30 -12:00 Mon - Fri.
>Texas gets 1000s of illegals per day. If a few dozen go to NY, what happens to the rest?<
It’s more like 10,000. The Houston area has nearly one million illegals. But they are not coddled and given all of the free chit. They have to work.
Research Colony Ridge, 33,000 acres of cartel owned land 40 miles northeast of Houston.
It’s very telling when a crew of workers show up and not one of them speaks English. How can that be?/s

Ended up at the ER once (minor incident) - the place was packed to the gills with women & children. Didn’t seem to be anything wrong with any of them. Found out they knew they would all be served a free meal - no shopping, cooking, cleanup, etc. Had to wait for hours while their kids had a huge play date in the ER waiting room.
All NYC will do is ship them Upstate.
Mostly red Upstate.
And since NYS cost shares Medicaid with counties, we’re all screwed.
If Abbott was serious about protecting his state, he’d get serious about Deep State-proofing his budget, securing his state’s elections, and securing his damn border.
Abbott is doing Deep State’s dirty work for it.
He’s a stooge.
Dang! What state was that in?
I never heard that particular angle that they play. Disgusting.
“Texas gets 1000s of illegals per day. If a few dozen go to NY, what happens to the rest?”
Abbott won’t send troops to the border like he is legally enabled to do; don’t expect a Republican to actually try to defend the country from annihilation.
He could at least saturate the areas where Governor Kemp lives, where Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger lives, and where all the shiny traitorous democrat politicians live, including the demented slug that occupies the White House.
The industries are long gone, and the main money coming into town are government benefits to Hispanics
As far back as the mid-70s, the town had billboards around the Puerto Rico airport inviting immigrants
And send a bill for services rendered and transportation costs to the sanctuary destination location. FOB Origin.
