Has Europe Just Committed Suicide?
The Burning Platform ^ | 12/30/2023 | Martin Armstrong

Europe has laid the groundwork for World War III and the destruction of Europe as a whole, all to save its failed fiscal management of the economy. Using the Ukrainian war that the West instigated by promising democratic elections to the Donbas in BAD FAITH just for being Russian, the European Union Council adopted a 12th sanctions package against Russia. This time, they sealed the fate of the world and Europe by also announcing that the end of this contrived Ukrainian war would not be lifted after the conflict ended. From the very beginning, Europe negotiated in BAD FAITH with the intent of creating war. They promised to allow the Donbas the dignity and respect every human society deserves – the right to determine their own fate by a free election.

We've all watched the West spiral into rot for the last 20 years.

The US has certainly contributed to the rot, but the EU has lost its ever-loving minds (actually, we're not too terribly far behind).

Not too different than the Germans in the first to the middle part of the last century. And now they're leading the charge again. Yes. Right down the proverbial drain.

They tossed the idea of cheap energy, which kept them and their citizens humming along and doing well. They had an excellent chance to stop the unraveling with a peace treaty two months after the launch of the special military operation. They torpedoed that option, and their so-called friends torpedoed their lifeline/gas line connection to make it permanent.

This will not end well. It will be post-WWII Germany on steroids, but no one to save their stupid butts this time.

So much for superior intellect. It's now "no intellect."

Stupid is -- is stupid does!

You got it all 100% backwards.
Ukraine’s borders are internationally recognized. Even Russia has signed on to it in the 90’s.

Also,
A few here said the Ukrainians did a “coup d’etat”? Wrong.
The Ukrainians suddenly understood that their President Viktor Yanukovych was actually an impostor working directly for Russia!

To confirm how awful president Viktor Yanukovych was, we have to remember that he asked Kremlin to send Russian troops into Ukraine in order to eradicate the Ukrainian people’s demonstration against his pro-Russian Government!
Talk about the DEEP STATE = Viktor Yanukovych!

Ukrainians want their own president to be working for UKRAINE, and NOT for Russia. That’s logical.

Ukraine’s ex-president Viktor Yanukovych found guilty of treason. /// Exiled former leader sentenced to 13 years’ jail over 2014 protests and Russian invasion.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jan/25/ukraine-ex-president-viktor-yanukovych-found-guilty-of-treason

The only entity to blame today for the war, is Russia.
It’s more logic to blame Russia for its invasions and annexations, than to blame Ukraine and the West trying to fend off Russias blatant violation of international law and illegal annexations of Ukrainian territory. Right?

After all, Nato and Ukraine have ZERO troops in Russia.
Russia though.. has invaded Ukraine with 400.000 Russian troops!

Why should we blame the victime and not the aggressor?
This is typical WOKE attitude. We do the same in America. Violent crime and ANTIFA thugs are being appeased by “defunding the police” policies.
Madness.

You are the moron, Ukraine had it’s longest term as a quasi sovereign nation as a vassal region of Russian & then the USSR. Before that it was owned by many other entities throughout history, and that did not include the landmass east of the Dnieper River.

I think the most disgusting little Hitlers on here are the freaks who pull out maps and historical documents and stories and try to tell people that a country doesn’t exist.

Shame this country that doesn’t exist is killing so many Russians who are invading it. And for some reason that really bothers you.

I find it hard to believe that there “never was a Ukraine” when I have known too many old people from my youth who described themselves as Ukrainian, having fled during World War II. One very old woman, “Baba” described having been in both Russian and Nazi Concentration Camps, insisting that the Nazis treated her and her daughter better than the Commies. (In fact a Nazi camp guard saved the daughter from drowning).

She also seemed to identify more with the Poles than the Russians, cheering for JP II. There is a Ukrainian Rite Catholic Church, and I am sure it would not fare well under Russian rule, but it is not new.

In history countries come and go. The U.S. history is quite different from Europe’s in that the countries would come and go when they were already settled with substantial cities.

I just think that if you say “there never was a Ukraine”, that would be news to a lots of people who have been describing themselves as Ukrainian for many decades.

[World War III]

Come along. It will be great fun. Food shortages, crime, gasoline shortages, travel restrictions. Not to mention the heat. Anyone not wearing 2 Million Sunblock is gonna have a real bad day.

Dude the USA was owned by many sovereign entities over hundreds of years. Nonetheless the USA exists.

The British, French, Spaniards, Dutch, Indian nations, and for that matter Russia - do not get to show up with old maps and grievances and ask for it back.

In reality, the reason for that is we won’t let them without a fight. Just like Ukraine.

And we wouldn’t be independent without foreign intervention by the French.

It’s called reality.

Now, is it possible to invade Ukraine, conquer and “eliminate” it as a country?

They can try but Ukrainians have such a well established culture and identity that it would take many decades or even centuries. It’s highly unlikely Russia would stay the course for that long because of the continuing conflict, and because Russia is not the most stable government in the world.

[Still waiting for people to address the topic: Did Europe just commit suicide?]

We may just find out. 2024 could get real interesting. Like World War III so....(___fill in the blank___)

I still expect the Man of Sin to arise from Europe - and they've already set up a modern-day Tower of Babel - Will there be the seat of the New World Order of Daniel 7:23 there? Stay tuned, I suppose. We sure do live in interesting times.

You, sir, are talking too much sense to this viper nest of Kremlin trolls… the concepts of logic and common sense are foreign to them.

It’s not suicide.

It’s the premeditated murder of the middle class by Europe’s Deep State.

Russia must be destroyed. Russian culture and Russian language must be destroyed.

Posts like yours demonstrate why.

“I just think that if you say “there never was a Ukraine”, that would be news to a lots of people who have been describing themselves as Ukrainian for many decades.”

That’s how a country is recognized? Ukraine translates as “Borderland” in English. Irrelevant to the topic though, which is Europe’s suicide, not Ukraine’s.

Anyone with any sense of history understands that Ukraine is Rus, and that Moscow was an uncultured backwater of Mongol puppet states, with no real claim to legitimacy.

But it hasn't been owned by any of those entities for over 200 years and continued to expand after becoming a nation 239 years ago. Do you not realize that our nation was attacked during its existence, but it held on to its landmass, and added to it.

Look at the history of the landmass we now call Ukraine. It had its longest run of a quasi sovereign nation as a vassal nation under under Russia first and then became even more of a vassal nation under the USSR. But it didn't become a recognized nation until after the fall of the USSR in December of 1991.

So, your argument, at best, is grossly incomplete, at worse it's a stupid argument.

England was established in the 10th century. Before that is was ruled by Roman forces. Not much has changed since, except that we try to say that disputed between nations cannot keep what they gained through conflicts that result in violent outbreaks, which is a ridiculous construct to begin with. Look at what has happened to Yugoslavia for example. Why was it chopped up and several nations were established as a result?

When Russians finally broke free of the Golden Horde, it was Moscow and not Kiev that did it.
