Yes, I know a subcontractor that does these. Of course the building/service area is built (I visit these often in NYS) however the actual counter and cooking space is subcontracted out by the vendor to meet their requirements, grills, ovens, logos, menus etc.
That’s called a tenant build-out. It’s only done to meet the specific needs of a specific tenant, so in that context Applegreen gains nothing from having Chick-fil-A there instead of any other food concession.
