Russia refuses to ever admit it was successfully attacked, so it plays this deliberate deception game of downplaying the event - the ship was only "damaged", and the sailors are only "missing"

The TRUTH is that the ship was carrying loads of drones, so there were lots of secondary explosions - so big that nearby buildings were damaged and parts of the ship are now found all over the city, buried a yard deep. It's pretty obvious that most of the sailors were killed outright, but Russia can't be honest about that, because that would be admitting that Ukraine was successful

Not a good way to build trust with the military families who are now grieving

Naval warfare has changed. What is happening to the Russians could surely happen to our naval forces bottled up in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf. That is why, rather than seeing gunboat diplomacy in Yemen with out trillion dollar navy, our ships seem to be avoiding confrontation just out of range.

military families who are now grieving

cynical propaganda.

All governments lie, but the old Soviet Union set the bar really high for lying. The Russians are simply carrying on the tradition they perfected,i.e.: Lie about everything, deny everything, etc.

I doubt the Russians will forget all they've lost from US and NATO weapons. This war may go on alot longer than just Ukraine.

Judging from the size of that blast I’m guessing there isn’t anything left of them. I heard that the roster on that ship included 180-some men. I suspect they are understating the death toll.

The TRUTH is that the ship was carrying loads of drones,

I don’t doubt the the ship was carrying explosive materials, but I question why the drones would be equipped with the bombs for transport. I would think those would be installed just prior to the drones being sent to their target.

https://www.thenationalnews.com/world/uk-news/2023/12/26/russia-heading-to-victory-in-ukraine-says-former-uk-senior-officer/

In a wide-ranging interview, Gen Sir Richard Barrons argued that Ukraine’s military “has got nothing left in the locker right now” after its gruelling summer counter-offensive.

“The initiative in this war is unequivocally transferring to Russia and that is not the situation we expected at the start of this year but it’s an honest appraisal of where we are,” said Gen Barrons.

“That's a combination of the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive to deliver even its minimum objectives,” said Gen Barrons. “Then the major wobble in US politics and now EU politics on financial support to Ukraine. The reason he's much more confident is because he's not losing this war.”

“Putin will be rubbing his hands with glee at the distraction of Gaza particularly with artillery ammunition that was going to go to Ukraine now being fired at Palestinians,” said the veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

It’s going to be pleasure watching you squirm while the Russians take more and more land in Ukraine.
