This would appear to be a good decision, give that the vast majority of the academic majors of not academic, and have nothing to do with civilization or any practice done within a civilized society.
What are the men doing then?
Choice A: Attend a college after borrowing an insane amount of money for a degree that may or may not lead to gainful employment.
Choice B: Attend a 2 year Trade School and almost immediately upon graduation get a job that can pay $100,000 a year.
Doesn’t seem like a difficult choice to me.

Supply and Demand. Costs keep going up higher than inflation. Buyers decline.

If I was young I’d go the trade school route too.
Fewer scholarships and grants available to men, especially if they are Caucasian.
College campus’ are a hostile environment for males. Who wants to be the whipping boy for the woke mob? Not to mention college degrees are becoming worthless in both the private and public sectors.

Colleges no longer educate. They indoctrinate. Marxist indoctrination. Especially the so-called “Ivy League” colleges.

The overwhelming chance is you will lose half your S and if you have kids it will be even worse. The system is anti male and it feels like the younger men are getting the message.
Trade school is definitely a better career choice. Plus, all of these WOKE universities are required to have DEI offices.
DEI offices are not there to prosecute women or minority men.
White male undergrads are their target, so why should a person pay outrageous tuition to be treated like a serf.

Every man should learn a trade of some sorts, Period.
If so motivated get upper education in an area that makes more money.
A BA degree in anything doesn’t mean crud. Only STEM degrees are worth the time, effort, and money. Guess what, most women don’t want to work that hard.
