Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Thursday in the wake of a $148 million civil court ruling and a mountain of unpaid legal bills.
Giuliani, 79, estimates he currently owes $153 million — an amount that will likely balloon due to several other pending lawsuits and when millions of dollars in pending legal bills are factored in, according to the Manhattan federal court filing.
The $148 million settlement was the biggest financial blow to Giuliani, but he also owes the IRS more than $700,000 and more than $260,000 to New York State tax authorities, according to the bankruptcy filing, first reported by Bloomberg News.

Rudy lists Robert Hunter Biden as a creditor.

It would be appropriate if Pres. Trump helped alleviate Giuliani’s situation. Not only because of fact that Rudy’s work on Trump’s behalf got him into this mess, but also because Rudy’s work at returning NYC to pre 70s social and economic climate helped Trump to decide to invest more heavily in NYC real estate development. The financial gain from those investments led to Atlantic City casinos and his notoriety led to “ You’re Fired.” The rest is history. Trump owes Rudy.
Meanwhile, someone from the deep state will whisper into a congressman or judge’s ear and say...”This could be you if you cause any problems”.

I’m sure Trump agrees and wants to make Rudy’s problems go away - but figuring out the best logistics and timing will not be easy.
For example, Giuliani is no doubt appealing the rulings against him - so the question is, if Trump simply cut him a check to cover his legal expenses and back taxes - could that negatively affect his appeal? Could it negatively affect Trump’s own court cases?
After all, the bogus allegations against Trump and his lawyers have an element of collusion - and the news of Trump paying Giuliani’s bills would almost certainly be twisted into some kind of quid pro quo scandal.
Perhaps the best thing President Trump can do for all the victims of this Democrat persecution is win back the Presidency, and pardon them all.
