The year started with high hopes for Ukrainian troops planning a counteroffensive against Russia. It ended with disappointment on the battlefield, an increasingly somber mood among troops and anxiety about the future of Western aid for Ukraine's war effort.
In between, there was a short-lived rebellion in Russia, a dam collapse in Ukraine, and the spilling of much blood on both sides of the conflict.
Twenty-two months since it invaded, Russia has about one-fifth of Ukraine in its grip, and the roughly 1,000-kilometer (620-mile) front line has barely budged this year.
A crunch has come away from the battlefield. In Western countries that have championed Ukraine’s struggle against its much bigger adversary, political deliberations over billions in financial aid are increasingly strained.

Even the Washington Post knows its over. One more indicator that DC’s Ukrainian cheerleaders
are removing their tights. The W/P removed the “War in Ukraine link” from their headline banner.
Now all they need to do is to tell Biden.....who’s still in costume.
Reading articles about the War in Ukraine is quite a downer if you are one of the rah-rah Deep State gaggle infesting Washington, DC and who bought into the fantasy that “Ukraine was winning the war.”
A torrent of naysayer stories are all over the MSM....a morbid symbolic tolling of the
church bells that normally accompany a funeral cortege for the recently embalmed.
All U.S. retirees should pitch in and get that job, or a second job for more Ukraine giveaways, payoffs, bribes etc...
Or maybe send some of your 401k money to help out..Or at least vote for higher taxes.
Ukraine got suckered by the West. Used them to weaken Russia’s army at the cost of their lives. NATO nations don’t care about them one iota.

All he will obtain from telling is satisfaction and threats from the establishment. How much do you think he can get from the establishment to keep quiet?
