Roy was also pressed a couple of times about Trump’s recent controversial remarks that immigrants were “poisoning the blood” of America, and he said Republicans ought to be approaching the issue with more compassion.

Trump brought this direct attack from Chip Roy onto himself when he publicly asked for somebody ‘anybody!’ to primary Roy. Chip Roy is not someone you want as an enemy, if it can be helped. He is not easily intimidated or thrown off target.

First, what's Trump's to gain by a debate with Desantis? He already has a 30+ point lead over him. He's not hiding, he just see no reason to.
Second, if he did debate Desantis, he would likely tear him to shreds. But again, what's the significance to Trump of a 30+ point lead or a 50+ point lead?
Trump called for Chip Roy to be primaried after the filing deadline had passed. So it may be “perfectly fair” but it is also completely untenable.
Trump is making his case in front of the people, not to the Corporate Media.

Chip Roy hasn’t changed. Trump has. Trump is nastier, slower, older, and extremely jealous. Just yesterday Trump was blubbering on about Roy needing to be primaried, and you all clapped like seals.
Today you are all clutching your pearls when Roy gives it right back and points out that Trump is in his basement, citing bogus polls as his reason for being too chicken to debate, while also obsessively ranting about DeSantis every night online and spending millions on attack ads on him. Ya can’t have it both ways lol.
Trump has zero votes so far so he isn’t leading anything or anyone.
My favorite thing about this campaign is that no one talks about anyone but Trump, no matter which party has them enslaved.

But it feels like Trump is flying all over the country and constantly on the go. That statement is just stupid all the way around.

The regular Government Establishment is a heartless beast with no compassion. Its primary purpose is to reap the financial and social benefits of political power. The wants and needs of citizens is only relevant to them in regard to how it affects their primary purpose.
Along comes a populist candidate that might get into high office, and it is no surprise that they will say the nastiest things about them, making stuff up as necessary.
Many of us are sick and tired of being sick and tired of the Establishment doing this. And its reached a breaking point with them doing it to Trump. Its not that people think Trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread, its just that he is the latest populist candidate with the potential of gaining high office and making the actual citizens a priority again. And we are sick and tired of the Establishment treating such threats like dirt. They way they treat Trump is by extension the way they treat us.

chip roy has been out on the campaign trail with desanctimonious, attacking Trump.
That's why chip roy is open for attacks, otherwise, why should Trump be going after chip roy?
