DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday declared former President Donald Trump ineligible for the White House under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause and removed him from the state’s presidential primary ballot, setting up a likely showdown in the nation’s highest court to decide whether the front-runner for the GOP nomination can remain in the race.

What are being up for election are electors.
There’s also the privileges and immunities of Amendment XIV and Article IV of his electors and Trump himself.
Personally I have long thought Biden’s vote for the Brady Bill marked him as a rebel. It would be nice to have Trump back at his old job in mere days. Trump would have to refill all the judgeships Biden filled.
Work, work, work!
I take it that is the area where you live? :)
F-CO
AP? Can’t believe anything they report.
“malfeasance”
treasonous rebellion
fort sumter colorado.
rogue s.c. fires first shot cw2 heard around the nation.
I fully believe in giving the other side a taste of their own medicine. The only way they understand how it feels is if it happens to them.
It’s hard to tell if they’re ruling this way because they’re so supremely confident that they will never be out of power and can thus be open about their desire to destroy what remains of the nation (as founded), or that they so fear Trump and his base that they’re willing to abandon the rule of law.
Either way, this is a big ratchet-click to disorder and lawlessness.
If they get their way, it will be Kosovo x100

Yep, civil war now goes hot.
There’s a lot of fool’s gold I’m those loon’s mines.
The Colorado Supreme Court is a threat to our democracy!!!
Is that how it works?
4-3 decision. Clearly political and partisan. This could actually be helpful and nip all these similar cases in other states in the bud. SCOTUS must act.
This ruling demonstrates how politicized our judiciary system has become. It should help Trump. He can only be defeated by lawfare and election fraud. The Dems are unhinged and desperate.
Next stop: judges declaring any MAGA types guilty of insurrection and ineligble to be on a ballot. Then it extends to anyone not pledging fealty to the party in power.
Pure evil.
SC must rule immediately on this before it gets out of hand or a shooting war starts.
Trump has not been charged with insurrection let alone been convicted.
OUTRAGOUS!!!!
Conviction and sentence without even a trial.
Alright my fellow Coloradans... where are we protesting??
?
Going nowhere Trump has never been convicted of an insurrection. These assholes will be reversed by the Supremes.
