So, it’s official. Senator Ben Cardin’s office has told Politico that “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the US Senate.” Goaded by demagogic republicans, the Capitol police has now also opened an investigation.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve already seen the viral video making its rounds. Republicans just can’t stop watching the 8 second clip featuring two men embracing each other in love while you can briefly see an empty room in the background.
It turns out one of the lovemaking men was Aidan Maese-Czeropski, and the room was recognized by some as the senate hearing room.
We get it. It’s the most important room in America. It was in this very room that Sonia Sotomayor herself had her confirmation hearing, and won despite an entire oligarchy reorienting itself to wipe her out. This is also where James Comey exposed the Russian interference in the 2016 elections, to the chagrin of the treason party.
But in a world built on hate, displays of love are inherently rebellious. Every second that Aidan and his partner made love in the halls of power was pregnant with poignant meaning.
And in a time when the LGBTQ community is under existential threat by white fragility feeling threatened, open displays of LGBTQ culture are necessarily brave. In some ways, Aidan’s act mirrored that of Anne Frank, who dared to express her honest thoughts and feelings even as she hid from rabid insurrectionist-style death squads.

That is not love.
“He was just being courteous ... getting ready for a meeting no doubt; you know: “May I push your stool in for you?””
ROTFLMFAO!!!
We know who the “EE” is, Why don’t we know the “ER” yet?
If so, it's working.
I guess they cut all the anal sex scenes out of the movie.
In any case, it was the German Secret State Police* that got her, not "insurrectionist-style death squads."
But maybe the writer was referring to Barney Frank's sister.
We haven't seen her in a while and maybe something happened to her.
I don’t think so. If anything, it’s just confirming what they already think.
BINGO.
I didn’t talk about what I did with my wife the night before either (I retired). It’s unprofessional.
For some reason certain folks out there want to broadcast their sexual behaviors to the world and pretend as if their exhibitionism is an act of valor, some sort of heroism.
Besides, if it’s a behavior that is related to sex which shows some sort of preference, that’s called a “fetish.” Today you basically have schools, employers, the government running around promoting certain “fetishes.” You have insurance companies paying for it, and you have billions worth in government grants flowing into programs for a sexual fetish. What about a couple that want the woman to have enormous breasts and are really sad their insurance and government don’t pay for that? What about folks that like leather, latex, fur or rubber? Big butts, Asian girls, piercings, tattoos, smoking, trampling, stockings...? What about the shoe and boot lovers out there, those that like whips and chains, adult nursing, inner-racial, young-old, outdoors, hairy, fat or skinny folks, giant genitalia, toys, orgies, role playing, dressing up as animals, playing with pee, desiring pregnant women...? There are in reality (((hundreds))) of fetishes, sexually stimulating behaviors and preferences, and many can’t even be mentioned here albeit they are legal.
(((MOST))) people probably have some tendency towards one or another, yet today LGBTQIA, anything having to do with gender confusion, is promoted.
Let’s be real clear, today in America you have schools teaching about and promoting sexual fetishes as part of the curricula, in special clubs, how children are counseled/advised, in the textbooks available in the library, and by visitors/guest speakers coming in to promote this fetish, and we think this to be smart and good. When I was still working, I had to endure lectures while on the clock (tax payer paid), in government facilities that basically revolved around what some folks sexually prefer.
It’s gotten to be funny, or sad, I suppose that depends on whether you’re talking about the inconsistencies and contradictions, or damage we’re doing to some people. We as a society throw a lot of money to sexual deviants that are immoral, often dysfunctional, and engaging in a high risk (HIV) and unnatural behavior (no genetic link and many of these folks do change their taste over the years). Of all the fetishes out there, why do we latch onto the ones that all have to do with not wanting to play the social role as assigned by birth genetically, which correspond to the physical equipment provided at birth? Liking big breasts isn’t going to give you anal fissures, nor increase your odds of contracting HIV by an order of magnitude. Liking big breasts isn’t linked to an increase in hepatitis and syphilis either.

What would happen if I went to school and talked about any other sexual preference and behavior besides LGBTQIA? What would happen if I went to a government job wearing a pin, or hung up a flag stating what I like sexually if it’s anything other than a rainbow flag?
The word “love” has, itself, never meant sex acts. Adulteration of the language is whats going on.
Yeah - I’m familiar with the Greek/English issue. Been through many studies of the various words. But leave it to the reprobates to further redefine/bend the vocabulary to justify their abhorrent behavior.
