Boston Mayor Michelle Wu proudly shared a photo of the controversial “electeds of color” holiday party she hosted on Wednesday, showcasing all the smiling government officials of minority backgrounds at the “no whites” gathering.
“Last night was my turn to host the annual holiday dinner for Boston’s elected officials of color—a special moment to appreciate that our affinity group now includes leadership across city, state, county, and federal offices,” Wu wrote in a caption alongside the photo on Instagram.

I weep for the future.
Had to have the only whitey present take the picture. (look in mirror)

Then there is the question: who paid for the "elected coloreds" party? If it was the public coffers, that could prove to be a problem for the organizers.
No it won't.
I’m surprised tableware was even needed.
Welcome to South Africa. I think we're approaching critical mass now.
Fat loser party.
WTF is that thing on the front, left?
I’m surp4ised that she isn’t being taken to court for instigating segregation.
This was an organized event by the city.
What the Mayor should have done is to invite her close "colleagues" to Chili's after work through the word of mouth.
No one cares.
In Massachusetts?!?!? Bwahahahahahahaha!
Lol 😆 there’s always a silver lining if ya look hard enough
For most of our history—in many parts of the country—segregation was the law of the land.
It is totally possible that we get there again.
Well, probably because most of the people directly impacted are too soaked in the mindset that it somehow magically isn’t segregation or racism.
People have been taught that it’s impossible to be racist against whites, that it’s only a “white thing” to be racist.
They really should be careful what they wish for. They will get it but not in the way they think.

If anti-white racism is not “racism” then the “final solution” of white people is easily justified.
City residence should demand that she resign immediately, including all of the racist participants of that holiday celebration. In a more just country, we’d have a federal civil rights investigation underway. Seriously, just imagine if someone did a White only Christmas gathering?
I don’t appreciate the implication that these people aren’t classy. Semi-formal dress, and the guy at the far end of the table even wore his best baseball cap to the occasion /s
