Thus, if it wasn’t for the 300.000 Russian invading soldiers’ deaths and the 70.000 Ukrainians citizens killed it would be a great time for celebration. But nearly half a million dead people, in the name of the Kremlin, is nothing to celebrate - we are talking about lost or severely injured human lives.

If that cartoon were truly accurate, it would depict Donetsk and Luhansk as human, i.e., as the offspring of Ukraine, since those oblasti are legally Ukrainian territories. And the human with the single spear is only defending his own from the Russian bear that stole them away.

But at least it uses the internationally recognized names for them in Ukrainian (note the ”h”), so thanks for recognizing them as part of sovereign Ukraine.
