The OR Democrats are obviously Marxist a-holes, as is pointed out in the article. But what I don't see mentioned in the article is the national GOP/RNC stepping in to help the OR GOP elected officials. It's just more evidence of the total lack fight in the party - they are truly passionless losers.

James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, launched an “attack on democracy”. Oregon shows why he was right to do so. Given enough leverage, democracy will mean eliminating the political opposition. Whether it’s Oregon’s Measure 113 or Biden’s open borders, democracy turns rights into a numbers game. If one political party finds enough voters and money, the end result is a dictatorship even if it is accompanied by the annual rituals of electioneering.That probably sums it up pretty well.

I'm always pleased to see
Federalist 10 referred to in the media. Over the years, I've enjoyed mentioning it in spirited debates with "democracy" lovers. Their first responses are usually something like "Huh?"... Of course, eighteenth century prose takes more than average patience and intelligence to appreciate.
I now seriously doubt whether a dumbed-down nation can implement a government plan created by genius.

My Oregon Senator is one of about 15 that walked out. She will not be able to run again IF the case is lost. What do you think the chance of winning is against liberal judges, lawyers and juries in the state capital?
The Dems used a very powerful theme...NOT FAIR TO PAY PEOPLE FOR NOT WORKING. Legislators didn’t show up for work and business at the capital couldn’t proceed without a quorum.
Why they walked out was hidden and the fact that Dems had used the same tactic...never mentioned.

If OR elections were not all mail in, illegals and non-citizens were not given voter registration forms - iow, if elections were secure and honest - Oregon would be a very different state.
