One more comment, if it were a case where merit was being used and it just happened that East Indians rose up to the top because they were the best, I would not be concerned.
Every demographic is going to be overrepresented somewhere in society because every demographic and community as their talents.
That is not why East Indians are overrepresented, because they are the best at what they do.
I don’t doubt but there is some tribal favoritism, both for Indians generally and on a caste basis.
But you are wrong about them rising to the top because of that bias rather than content.
Again, I’ll suggest you’re dealing with the bottom-of-the-barrel, low-end masses that have been imported over here because the demand is so great. Go to the vendor side and they are top tier in talent. education and contribution.
They’re over represented because they only hire their own.
The work visa programs need to be terminated & everyone on those visas needs to be deported.
There are quite a few cases where Indians are the best - Satya Nadella being one example
