Lara Trump, former President Trump’s daughter-in-law, is not ruling out former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley as a potential running mate for the current GOP front-runner.
“Crazier things have happened,” she told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling. “I don’t know, I would never say never with Donald J. Trump.”

Trump does have to pick somebody who brings him votes he doesn’t already have, but Haley’s already put herself out of the running with her comments. Still, she has a point about the difficulty of predicting what DJT will do.

If Trump picks the Bird over Vivek that would be an insult to MAGA. He won’t. He is just using Lara to put out a trial balloon.
He should pick Kristi Noem or General Flynn.
Haley doesn’t bring in votes.
I doubt he’d pick her. Trump’s not the kind of guy to rip someone publicly apart, and then pick them as a running mate.
Haley would work against Trump the whole time, leaking to the Swamp press.
The veep should be someone who could continue the agenda for 8 years after Trump leaves office.
We can’t afford another Pukey Pence. This time around he is older. Whoever is VP may well need to step in.
It is imperative that VP be MAGA. If it is not, then all his efforts are for naught.
Probably would not bother to vote if a slimy globalist is the VP choice.
If Haley is Trump’s VP pick, I’d seriously consider not voting at all. Trump will be 80 before his second term ends, and given the fact that he was impeached twice in his first term, he’s likely to be impeached again - there’s a reasonable chance that his VP pick will become president before his second term ends. I don’t want Haley in the Oval Office, continuing the tradition of RINO POTUSes betraying us.
Haley is the only potential candidate from either party that can turn the south blue.
He will absolutely lose my vote if he picks her ... mine and millions of other suthners ...

Trump already had one snake-in-the-grass VP stab him in the back - he doesn’t need a 2nd one.
Trump has to pick someone who’ll run with his agenda if something happens to him.
