John Kerry’s call to end all coal-powered electricity generation is “silly” and “self-destructive,” writes former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and “makes the United States look delusional.”
In his punchy essay, Gingrich insists that it is “not hyperbole or exaggeration” to call John Kerry “crazy,” since the word crazy means “marked by thought or action that lacks reason.”
Mr. Kerry’s failing mental state was on full display during his recent “emotional speech” to the United Nations Climate Change Conference, where he made a plea to “end all coal burning power plant construction in the entire world.”

I have read that the US has enough coal to last another 350 years. Much of it has been locked up in National Monuments out west. there were plans 50 years ago to mine that coal by building a power plant near it(Mine Mouth Operations).
Now so many of the coal plants out west are being destroyed. Page AZ, Waterflow NM North and South sides of the road, Craig Colorado...
Wonder if the government will ever build two more dams on the Colorado as planned in the 1930s. One before the Grand Canyon and one below the Grand Canyon.
I agree with Newt on this. Kerry is indeed a nut job.
***his plan to cut down 70 million acres of trees and bury them.****
Fifty years ago there were suggestions from “back to the earth” magazines that we cut down trees and burn them in power plants. It was said a 25 square mile block of trees would give us endless tree power! Now they want to bury the trees.
It’s a lose-lose situation. If he gets that bad, the powerful enablers that put him where he is will replace him with another full-of-himself idiot: Algore
The day Newt committed political suicide.
Then he turned into a Boehner, Ryan, McCarthy type. Dump his hot wife for a blow up doll.
Pffft
It’s not even about Pelosi, it’s that he fell for the “Climate Change” scam.
