New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu to endorse Nikki Haley

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu will endorse GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley Tuesday night, three sources close to the Republican governor confirm.

The endorsement in the key early-voting state could further elevate Haley, who has risen in national and state polls in recent weeks in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Haley and Sununu are expected to appear together Tuesday night for a town hall, the governor's office said, offering this statement from Sununu: “I look forward to joining Nikki at her town hall this evening — it’s going to be a lot of fun!”

One of the sources said this has been the thinking by the Sununu team for some time.

"She’s been here, she’s really pounded the pavement," said one of the people close to the governor. "She’s kind of in the middle, who will bring some peace and calm to the race, at the end of the day."

The endorsement puts an end to the thinking that Sununu would get behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, as some Republicans attempt to consolidate support for a candidate besides Donald Trump in the GOP primary.

Haley has held strong in New Hampshire, consistently polling second to Trump.

The Sununu backing is a potential boost to Haley, particularly as she lays attempts to lay out a compelling argument that she has a path beyond Iowa. Sununu, who is vehemently anti-Trump and fitted with running for president himself, is popular in New Hampshire.

That & a few billions dollars will do no good whatsoever.

The Republican base no longer supports the GOPe, for we now hate them as much as they have hated us for decades. Our only interest in the GOPe is to replace them & all of their minions in politics.

One of the reasons I will send them no money, is because they are not going to get my money to hold these useless debated, when a clear winner has already been chosen by their base.

The billionaire donor class can throw as much money as they want to support their preferred candidate, but it is nothing but wasted money, unless they recruit Democrats voters to vote for their desired person to be the Republican candidate for the general election.

If they do, it will be the death knell for the Republican Party, as many will just not vote, like they have until DJT came onto the scene. They are the same people who don't participate in mid-term elections either.

“She’s kind of in the middle, who will bring some peace and calm to the race, at the end of the day.” This is what the RINOs are counting on. They are thinking maybe people are tired of the division and rhetoric that is overwhelming these days. It won’t work, but I think that’s the reason for backing Haley. I back Trump 100% and will never vote for Haley. We don’t need “kinda in the middle” mentality.

DeSantis is getting to watch the Republican establishment stab him in the back—best to learn those lessons young.

“The middle” and “moderate” means doing the bidding of the Deep State—every time.

The Sununu family helped pick most of the Supreme Court under Reagan.
Which explains why most of them moved Left after getting in.

an endorsement by Sununu is like an endorsement by HilLIARy, Romney, or Christie

How long before Liz Cheney chimes in?
Pretty sure Haley will welcome it.
