North Carolina Poll: Trump up 50 Points in Republican Primary; DeSantis Falls to Third
Breitbart ^ | Dec 7, 2023 | Hanna Bleau Knudsen

The survey showed Trump leading the GOP primary race by 50 percentage points, garnering 63 percent support. No other presidential hopeful came remotely close, as former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley came in second place with 13 percent support.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in third place with just ten percent support, followed by Vivek Ramaswamy with three percent, former Gov. Chris Christie with two percent, and former Gov. Asa Hutchinson with one percent support. Eight percent remain undecided, which is not enough to help any of them in overtaking Trump.

Because several desantis supporting nevertrumpers were saying they didn't believe the other poll, here's another one on a state level.

No, desanctimonious isn't going to break out and be competitive with Trump, as desantis keeps dropping further back in the pack as time goes on.

Even if desantis reboots himself, starts wearing stillettos, comes out of the closet, or what ever extreme thing the desantis supporters can come up with to help desantis to gain attention and popularity.

I have never seen a politician destroy his career as quickly and as totally as Meatball has. He’s finished in 2028 and beyond, and it all could have been his had he not listened to the Bush-wing of the GOP.

I'm a DeSantis supporter but it's over for him. I'm moving on to 2028.

Trump is unlikely to win. Even if he wins, he'll be a lame duck immediately after his inauguration.

“...he’ll be a lame duck ...’

Yes, but can get more in 4 years than anyone else can in 8 years he we give him a friendly Congress..

That is also good reason for the next VP be the best candidate for 2028.

One Trump term = two regular POTUS terms.

The thing is, it could be a complicated 2024 with the dozens of charges against Trump. March could get interesting. Polls have shown that a lot of that Trump support is soft and if he’s found guilty of anything serious, people might just want to move on. I don’t know, but I’m still rooting for the only conservative running.

The only person I'm against is Nikki Haley. I'm okay with everyone else even though they may be RINOs.

lol....

the only people who say stuff like

‘the only conservative running’ or ‘only true conservative’

are desantis supporters, nevertrumpers, and rino uniparty supporters....

It shows you’re trying to fool and gaslight people here....

Couldn’t agree more. However he was done way before the GOPe got to him (at least publicly) at least to many of us. He turned his back on the Florida citizens who just elected him, this was unforgivable. Every minute of every day he breaks the rule while in quicksand. If people think he is doing poorly wait until 2028.
