What to know about the UNLV shooting
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is responding to reports of an active shooter on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The shooting occurred near Beam Hall.
There appears to be multiple victims, police said in a post on X.
Police urged everyone to avoid the area.

I am a professor at a midwestern University and I assure you that I am carrying full-time while I am on campus.

Another school shooting. What the hell are they teaching these kids? There are too many mass shootings in our schools. Public school violence is a threat to the DemocRATs’ “democrazy”. We need to ban large capacity classrooms. They are a threat to the DemocRATs’ “democrazy”. The Founding Fathers knew that public schools with a large number of toddlers would be a threat to “democrazy”. Classrooms weren’t designed to hold large numbers of children.
